Different V? Different license plate and all 4 wheels? Why warm up the tires if you're gonna switch, also the side number of the first is 18, the other is 48. First one is definitely cammed but you can't even hear the second one. Just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting... The CTS that did the initial burn out was not the same car that raced... rear tires/rims, rear plate and door number were all different.

xThe Amazing Flygon HDx True, it has launch control but Hellcats are notorious for not being able to put the power to the street without a lot of practice. I've seen several 'Cats that couldn't get in the 12's at the strip. But that's the drivers fault. CTS-V puts the power down better. The plus is, better times for a mediocre driver. The negative is, better times for a MEDIOCRE driver. I'm a mediocre speller and may have spelled that wrong...

BAR put up another video of a 2016 CTS-V and a hell cat and the hell cat smoked it ......had me confused cause the hell cat beat the caddy bad .....now I see this and that older CTS-V beat the hell cat my question is .....is cams making that CTS-V that much faster ..... is there some other mods on it.....or is the new CTS-V not as bad ass as the old one ....or maybe the driver in the new CTS-V just bad

HC was on it from get go, V wasn't. I also doubt the V had just a cam. Despite the v being 600 lbs lighter it would need at least 675 hp.

Whoever made this video screwed up. The first V is completely different then the one racing. If you look closely the V racing is actually a Gevpwr V. stock motor no cam no headers just basic bolt-ons with a 75shot

They took the license plate off of it too? The first plate was a blue Nevada plate "Evil V" the second car has a "Chevy power" plate on it. No cam in the second one either, BS they weren't the same Caddy's.

QB - Apparently, what i wrote went over your head, Son! If you read the OP, he (sarcastically said..IMO) that the CTS had to beef up, just to beat the Hellcat. I replied, that he didn't "just" beat him..he spanked him! This isn't a drag race, it's a 1/2 mile top speed run, and even with losing from the dig, he still beat the Hellcat at the end... and by 9 mph! 9mph at 150+, takes a good dose of extra power, due to these things called "laws of nature"; increased rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag...which increases exponentially after 60mph. In order for the Hellcat to hit 159, it would likely need an extra 150 hp! The hellcat is setup as a drag racing muscle-car, the Caddy is supposed to be competition for the Mercs/Bimmers. and Audi's of the world... all high speed. Autobahn-eating comfort-cabins! Go troll elsewhere!!
