There more to take into account. There have been Camaro ss’s and mustang gf’s being hellcats. Hellcats(chargers mainly)spin a lot so it takes away from a lot of the horsepower.

Anyone willing to bet on a race just by looking at the badged or the out side of the cars deserves to lose their money ... Tune that vette and slap a turbo on it and it's a totally different race .. I've had tons of mustang owners tell me they'll never lose to a pt cruiser only to hear the excuses when they hear the 62 mm turbo blow off on the 1,2 punch as I pass them after the front tires grab ... Always the same story a stock pt wouldn't beat me then I tell them it's bone stock besides the custom ECU tune .. no way pts don't come turbo

The mopar opponent for a corvette should be a viper as for a challenger a camaro if we want to really judge things here. Look the vette just got its ass embarrassed by a 5 seater coupe. If it were a z06 it would have been a different race. Instead of getting butt hurt and trying to compare your modded vette to save the day, just know that all cars get whipped from time to time.
