Its funny, the thumbnail shows 788s...when the cap for common samples is 500, rare samples 250, working on super samples...currently at 47, but i think the cap will be 50-100.

If you got to maps that have water or are very small you can get alot of common samples at the extraction point because there are fewer points of interest for the samples to spawn in.

For me i Have ton of green samples, but short in orange. IMHO best way for green is defense missions even with party. In defense you can remember all samples positions, they are all in this same place in same generated maps.

Came to say the exact same thing, getting 10 samples per defense and insane xp/money is alot more efficient vs this (at least until they probably nerf defense missions). Not having to wait for the stat screen does save time, tho.

I'm the opposite. I have hundreds of rare samples, but never have enough common samples. I'm going to end up maxed out on rare samples before I can use any.

Outdated strat unfortunately. Seems like some tweak to samples in the lair has been made. Did 5 runs and checked ENTIRE lair area (And all of them separated) every time and just got 2-3 from lair. Probably not worth doing anymore.

This farm is very inconsistient. Done 4 runs so far, and in 2 of them, there were zero samples around the nest.

As of 2024-03-01 they removed the biological samples from the terminid lair and there are only the boxed samples scatered around the map. So it`s no longer possible to do this in 3 minutes, it`s busted. :(

its just rng being rng I've had missions with anywhere from 2 to 11 samples in total at those two points just go to different planets

Doing the level 8 or 9 15 minute ones gets you 15 every 3 minutes as well

The problem is you have the risk of not be able to extract with those samples. It's Helldive diffifulty after all.

might i sugest trying the robot eradicate on the lowest lvl you can find them there is allways 10 green samples in the same spawn every time it takes a tiny bit longer depending on your bild but if you run the turet morter spam its fairly fast and in a group this works even faster

This seems inconsistent...because you have to find the mission and hope it's on a low enough difficulty that you can solo in a reasonable timeframe.

@@brycehoffman1521 you should be able to solo any of the mat least fairly ok now skill from player to player dose matter but i run them on helldiver solo farming the samples and the 8 medals but if your haveing a hard time find a lower lvl one just jump into a mission and then switch off after starting a mission rotation the others will change you can allso swap from hard and challenging i think even medium can have them tho i cant fully rember its not to hard tho the low one should be ok to do in about 3 ish minits if you use the mortors at least normaly they do the work for you after all but some runs could go unlucky i supose

@@cbkfuzzywolf you're telling me you're solo farming Eradicates on Helldive to get samples? I don't see how that's possible...2 mortars with timers is all you really have and they don't last the full duration of the mission

@@brycehoffman1521 no im telling you i solo farm that for medals it takes me win im on helldiver 3 to 10 minits depending on luck and i grabe the smaples as i can i use 2 morters and shild and railgun its not that hard to do but like i allso did say it is luck based sometimes i can be tank spamed and i just get over run then i die and have to run around the outside of the map killing what i can waiting for cooldowns but thats rare if you keep on top of killing things out side of the effects i have the ship module for more ammo and faster cooldown by 10 % most of the time if they dont get shot they last right to about 20 seconds of the cooldown so you can chain them tho again if a effect is there slowing down cooldowns its brutal witch is all im seeing as of late seeing theres no defence planets over all tho lower then helldive you dont see that so its not hard to do i would just get less medals "im doing that as of right now im runing extreme at the moment an aright amount of metles i supose i need to keep farming green samples and thos are supper fast 3 min every time fare less hulks to deal with.

5:00 There is no way the 15-30 second load is worth NOT taking someone else Even if all you did was send player 2 to extract immediately, you'd save the time of the run to extract. That's not including the possibility of doubleing your pick-up samples opportunities. You have 100 an hour making it 1.6 a minute or 38% efficiency Having another person CAN double that Even only extracting w 10 total, that's 76% efficiency.

What i use: Shield Pack, Orbital Laser, any Turret and light armor to make yourself faster. Thats all you need to finish it without even shooting.

Go around the whole map looking for drop pods or POI’s and there is samples around, also there’s plants that you can pick up that give you samples

So on the eradicate missions u get 10 on auto planet and 10 to 15 on a bug planet depending on which one. But also can he done start to finish in 3 to 5 min for 10 or 15 its only common regardless on difficulty on the mission

@@chaddrusso8850 as of a couple hours ago with my brother, we got 15 on a level 7 bug eradicate mission. So I think it depends on the map to be honest cause there is one map I think I only get 7 as well. But also thought it was because the mission was level 3?

Don't think this is the farm that's hurting us. Pretty sure it's when you're on harder difficulties w multiple dives and start a new mission before completing them all. (Farming 1/3 auto defense and never the rest)
