The crossbow is now my new favorite primary. I was looking forward to the eruptor buff, but the crossbow is simply better now.

If you equip Thermites you can make short work of Titans along the crossbow. Crossbow can also clear Spores and Shrieker nests. Below mid tier is L take. Use laser pistol as secondary since you were struggling to keep distance.

the X-bow is like a primary version of the grenade pistol to me. It only making noise at the impact site can occasionally make for some nice distractions too.

There's a really nice Shrieker Nest breakpoint with this. One Quasar shot followed by one Crossbow shot will take them out.

I did a whole mission only using the crossbow and it felt good. I didn't have a secondary as i planned to pick one up during the mission and I didn't realise until 25mins in I hadn't picked one up and that I had only used the crossbow all the way. It seems like the re-education of the weapon makers has worked. For Super Earth!!!!!

Alltough the update in general is good, I just wish I could play the game on my PS5 without crashing on extract and loose everything over and over again. We're 8 months in, and server stability is still an issue. I see ppl disconnecting on the constant.

I play on ps5 and haven't crashed since the update dropped. Could it be triggered by certain actions/ load outs like other crashes?

You guys not experiencing crashes doesn’t mean others don’t. I’m in the EU and servers for most games aren’t great over here. I play with friends in the US as well, and they never dc.

me and my party have been using the crossbow since the patch. Defiantly our favorite weapon. It being one handed i also a massive bonus because we can carry the mutated egg without being forced to use our secondary weapons

The Xbow is onehandet so you can run and shoot and yeah Xbow play pretty well with Rover. Nice Video 👍🏻

The crossbow is the bloody love child of the helldivers devs in terms of primary weapons It has received near zero nerfs and I swear it gets buffed in majority of patches They're increased its damage, increased its damage and allowed to destroy fabricators + bug holes, it has become one handed, its received more damage and bigger explosive radius And I'm all here for it because I've always loved it since its release

I like to pair the crossbow with the stalwart. I don’t feel the need for the supply pack. Stalwart for everything little. Crossbow for bile spewers and bug holes. Thinking of running the throwing knife for chargers

Definitely like the crossbow. But yes you need a sidearm for the really pushy in your face bugs.

To me, it's not mid tier, if anything in the right hands it's insanely good, closes bugnests, one shots most lesser bugs, great blast radius, if the enemies are to close, shoot a nearby wall or stone, the blast damage is enough to kill still, it's one handed too. All in all, most times it doesnt matter what sup weapon i carry either, because with thermites, most things are just not a problem anymore.

The Xbow is nice...but man scorcher + flame thrower+ napalm barrage and strike + incendiary nades? What can i say i like FIRE.

It's my go to weapon against bots because for bugs its just too slow
