@@Ewan212th I use re-shade. I made my own config to remove the cape/tablet and sample tube. If you would like a tutorial I can link you to a video on KZbin.

www.nexusmods.com/helldivers2/mods/593 This is a modlink explaining the process on how to toggle capes on or off. I made my own config using re-shade but I believe this should do the same thing already set up for you.
