Cyborgs were from the first Helldivers, half human half machine. In Helldivers 2, they're called the Automatons. Fully machined. Great video still🎉🎉🎉

The Automatons in HD2 were created by Cyborgs from the first game. Cyborgs are currently in camps and their creations are trying to free them. Similarly the Termids were put into industrial farms for their 'oils' that's necessary for the interstellar travel and they broke out of the farms.

All of the cons in this video are either fixed or soon to be fixed, they just updated the servers to hold 700’000 players, on top of that a new faction is being hinted, and mechs are already confirmed. As well as new enemies. Considering the game has been out for like 2 weeks is already insane. I can only imagine how great this game will be once it hits the 3 month mark

Fun thing to add, that if you complete all of the main objectives and you die while out of reinforcements, you still win, but you lose on extraction bonus and all the samples you collected. Also i would love a deep rock galactic crossover with this game, you technically fighting same enemies. In both games: Bugs = Original main threat Robots = mysterious, probably bigger threat

That already happens, if you were to destroy all eggs and died without extracting you still win the mission, you just don't get your samples or extra xp for extracting

Oh yeah. Although on tough missions, we knew how to dig a hole and create a chokepoint, and then blew them to bits. It'll be harder to pull that off in Helldivers... and in DRG, we had Molly. Macro! I have been carving the path for democracy and DOING MY PART since yesterday, and have made a HUGE (0.000026%) IMPACT on liberaty! My favorite stratagem has to be the minefield because it absolutely MOWS down enemies in the 'kill enemies' missions. Its also just satisfying

I love all the different possible play styles. when playing solo, i play this game like a stealth game, sneaking around and silently taking down enemies on the objective. It's super fun on the hardest difficulties because of the number of armored enemies makes open combat a poor choice. It's so satisfying to ghost through an objective without being noticed.

So that's why I've been feeling like I've seen this game before when I first saw it. I entirely forgot I had watched starship troopers years ago, and seeing this game suddenly made every detail of what happened in the movie come back to me.

It's a ton of fun, however one thing I am starting to see at higher levels is everyone is starting to mainly use the same loadout. Railgun, personal shield, orbital laser, and 500k bomb. I kind of what them to nerf them a bit and perhaps add something to incentivize picking different stratagems

They really need to balance this game (and I feel like they will - just a matter of when). Because the difference between the best loadouts and the worst ones is MASSIVE.

​@MrBones105 yeah the gun loadouts aren't too bad balance wise but the stratagems can make or break a mission. Fighting higher levels against bots and not having the orbital laser or 500kg bomb and the personal shield (or at least the guard dog) is just suicide. The railgun is also just so much better at dispatching hulks chargers and bile titans than any other option that it also kinda becomes a must pick

Managed Democracy is like regular democracy, except Super Earth has taken the liberty of picking your vote for you to simplify the process! So easy! Also, idk if it's exactly the same, but HD1 scaled difficulty the more people in the squad - you'd see enemies that normally only showed up at higher difficulties, for example.

the gameplay loop is precisely what i want in a party shooter. the solo is a bit rough and could use some attention, but i am lucky enough to have at least one other person to play with, and the few randos ive dealt with have actually been smart and tactful in thier own gameplay and i have had a grand ole time.

Depends on difficulty and bugs/automoton world, but i often use shield backpack whenever i choose mid/hard difficulties on automatons and guard dog on mid difficulty bugs, shield backpack on extreme and above. Ofc not going without laser and often use 500kg bomb (only if you got the extra upgrade on module that costs super samples)

Loving the game and the video overall macro, I agree with all your points but it dosent dilute the experience an fun much, I hope they add more enemies even if it's just variants with the bugs and automatons until they make a new faction cause there's the open areas to the top and bottom of the map that could be placeholders. Hopefully some new fun weapons like a primary laser rifle or melee types cause I love punching the little ones but a big wrench could be fun maybe as a objective or something. Great video macro

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the "spectating your corpse" bug happens if your corpse is disturbed or moved by things like explosions. Don't know if that's the only factor, but that's what usually happens for me.
