whoever wrote the script and suggested that acting at the start needs a raise. it's like watching a starship troopers parody but a VERY high quality parody, really makes you wanna jump into the fight.

I've seen a breakdown by a professional and he explains the genius behind all these shenanigans, how much thought goes into the smallest details like lighting, contrast, camera angles and movement, or the background actors' actions and blood splatter timing... it's an insanely well orchestrated masterpiece. I kinda want a movie now. But let THESE guys do it!

Ngl it’s hard to differentiate real with this CGI human. From lightning, facial expressions and textures are very on point. If they make a movie and tell me it was shot in a studio, I would believe it. Golden hours are surreal in the intro. Best one I ever seen

I watched it several times to see the comparison. That man must have invented the chest bump because a more perfect one has never been performed. In fact, in the cutscene itself, it looks like the chest bump was stiffened to be less animated than the IRL one, haha. It makes sense, considering a dude wearing full armor probably wouldn't have been as flexible. 10/10 in every way.

Basically the first trailer in a long time I've watched 100 or so times and my fellow helldivers keep dying as I try to reload the game and I just have to rewatch this intro it's so good. Gives you just the right amount of motivation to save the day, kill everything and bring the rest of the troops home safely. Also please release the full version of the freestyle rap, we cannot let our fellow helldivers out on the field without a full version!
