Shotguns in this game should work different. At close range (-20 m) medium pen, (+20 m) light pen for pellets ammo and spread dmg. Ammo like breaker should be med pen at ~25/30 m and almost no spread, at longer range, light armor

My problem with it is the unnecessary drag with the weapon. Would totally use it more if I didn't have to compensate the weapon ergonomics with peak physique. None of the other breakers suffer from that problem and even the original one has 16 mag cap again after they originally nerfed it.

The Inc breaker is the best for pure killing out of the shotguns if it’s paired with a backpack, but even without the backpack I’d still take it over the spray n pray because its dot will do so much work on hunter and shrieker patrols with just a short burst. The cookout is the best crowd control hands down though, with the halt maybe coming in second. The cookout’s stagger plus dot does an insane amount of work together. It’s definitely the best all around shotgun for sure. I think the spray and pray is better than the standard breaker and punisher, but it’s not bringing anything special to the table either. It’s not bad by any means, it’s just not doing anything that the others could do better either due to the CC/med pen potential like the halt, or CC/dot like the cookout, or raw dps/dot like the inc breaker.

For me, if I'm going to take a light pen shotgun I will always choose the punisher over the breaker, regardless of variant. I feel like the punisher has the punch to make up for the light armor pen and it has the added utility of the round reloads. I even prefer the cook out to the breaker incendiary. The base punisher has actually been something of a go-to for terminids with the prevalence of hunters and warriors now. if you hit a warrior in the face with a full punisher spread it dies.

they made the flag missions womewhat easier by lowering spawns luckily, but it's difficult because people tend to just swarm the flag like lemmings instead of planning it out when it doesn't go as planned retreating to try again with full cooldowns is a decent strat if you start losing more reinforcements than you planned

i think the Spray and pray should have more ammo in the magazine. from 26 to 30 or something like that. because the Fire Breaker has 26 too i think

I absolutely adore the spray and pray im not one to use EAT i rock stalwart im getting like 4-6k shots fired and close to 1k kills per game on helldive difficulty but my stratagems are 2 anti tank either rail/laser, 500kg/110MM all a mix of each depending on what my teammates are rocking and 1 napalm barage or turret

I really have a hard time against bile spewer due to its medium armor, overall I think this gun is good as the incendiary. I usually use grenade launcher to counter them along with the outpost but I still vulnerable while I was encountering with the big bois.

The incendiary is an overall better weapon. This sucks. Incendiary is like having DoT damage on the bugs. Spray and pray is often not used for a reason. Its worse than most shotguns

Yall helldivers are weird talking about playstyle and diff loadouts.. bla bla.. ive perfected this game. 1943 hours. I have a record of 1589 kills on solo hardest difficulty. I will never tell anyone my loadout just because of how people have things to say about it 😂 have fun chasing good loadouts. Im gonna keep with the number 1 factual best.
