for those like me who doesnt have the game, whats a warbond?

It's like a battle pass that stays. Unlock items with medals you get for completing missions and sometimes find around the planets. Theres a free one that is the main way to get guns, grenades, boosters that help your helldiver, armor and other cosmetics.

I don't want to nitpick but technically you unlock a warbond with super credits, which can be found free-to-play during missions at POI's. When you purchase the game, the first Warbond is already unlocked and then a second, premium one can be unlocked at the cost of 1.000 Super Credits. Subsequently, as @NiftyDarkrider981 said, you can unlock the items inside the warbond with medals.
