I like orbital Airburst for one particular thing. For clearing breaches. It is for me much better in doing it than gatling.

I’m just here to express my love for the 500kg bomb. I bring it to every faction. Arguably, I use it more for utility than I do for killing things. How satisfying it is to just throw a 500 in the middle of a medium bug base and watch the whole thing go bye bye. But also a great “I’m out of AT rounds, and I’m being chased by big bugs” stratagem

Also, if you’re lucky with your throw… it’ll clear the entire “purge bug hatchery” section in one bomb. Will frequently do it in two though, which is very handy. Just leaving you the bug holes outside to close up

Another great Tier list, exactly when I needed it, thanks!! I'm currently trying to "solve" chargers and this definitely helps! I don't know if others are interested, but a useful thing to me would be "How to kill X", with a variety of methods. I also like the idea of yours of highlighting specific strategems.

I think it is best if you stick with sure ways to kill it, for example, a factory strider, going under it is hard as you have to take down the turret + the 2 Gatling guns underneath it, so medium pen things are not easy to do for newer players So focusing on AT weapons and stratagems to take out the turret and eye is the best way to go A AMR for example would not be efficient for it (possible but not efficient) Anything you say, it is possible to do it, yeah but not for newer players, you got to think on efficiency A quasar cannon or EAT would be a lot better for it for example, hell even a 380 would fare better as you can simply throw it and move away

Eagle Airstrike, Eagle Napalm Strike, Eagle 500kg, Orbital Precision Strike, or Orbital Railcannon Strike can all reliably kill a Charger in one hit.

Quick correction: both strafing run and Gatling barrage have been ap5 since June. Evidence being that they’ve be capable of killing titans and chargers even back when they both had ap5 armor. It’s also why they are so much better at killing both, since you no longer take 50% damage penalty from matching ap levels.

I love the walking barrage, but I agree it's a bot (or illuminate) stratagem. It's really good at killing things from a distance things that anti tank guns can't take out. With so many of bug side objectives able to be killed by auto cannon, quasar, RR, etc, the walking barrage's use case is considerably diminished.

I like to drop the orbital gatling on top of bug breaches. It has such a low cooldown and it lasts for a few seconds, so it's a great way to thin out the numbers that come out of the breach and keep it under control.

Extremely little known fact about the Eagle Strafe is that it actually has a small amount of auto aim, you still need to line it up fairly accurately but it will swipe left and right to targets along that line(based on the direction you threw it) which is part of why it is so good at killing groups of enemies since it will wiggle out a bit to the sides and spread out the bullets for that extra little AoE. Also a correction for the video, Eagle Strafe is not AP 4, its even better with AP 5! (explosive damage is only AP3 though(medium pen). With AP 5 it overpens both Charger and Titan armor, meaning it does full damage completely bypassing the armor, probably why it is so effective at wounding and breaking their armor. Same thing with Orbital Gatling, it has AP 5 on the projectiles and AP 3 explosive damage so it hurts when it hits. 110 rocket pod is as said in the video in need of a buff but it honestly does not need a lot, it fires 3 shots of 2 rockets each = 6 total, each missile does 600 AP 7 DURABLE projectile damage + 200 AP 3 explosive damage. If all rockets hit that is 3600 damage that basically ignores all enemy armor and durability + 1200 AP 3 explosive damage... the problem is that it will often miss some rockets and/or hit different parts of the enemy spreading the damage. A Charger would die 100% of the time if they hit its main body with all the rockets and it would kill Titans with 2 uses just chunking through their main health. Tbh all it might need to be S tier might be to add it to the XXL Weapons Bay ship upgrade that adds 1 extra bomb(so it fired 4x2) or even simply bumping up the explosive damage to AP 4-5 so it pens heavy armor as well. Yeah I do know most people wont bother reading this, I am just spreading some Acksually 🤓 knowledge while feeding the KZbin algorithm.

I found out many stratagems are quite effective vs the Bugs. Other than smokes, there's not many I haven't seen used to great effect. I'm currently partial to Eagle Napalm and Railcannon Strike.

I use the 110mm a lot and never understood why people say is inconsistent. Every time I use it against a charger (even behemoth chargers) or hulks it one shots it every time

​@@r6TrdSlowthe 110mm is more efficient for stuff like chargers, hulks and tanks but it takes multiple uses against bile titans so for that specific type of enemy the ORC is better But I'm not a fan of spending a stratagem slot with a 3 minute cooldown to deal with just one enemy type. Specially when in the current meta bile titans die pretty fast. On a 4 man team I feel that you can leave your team to kill it. And it doesn't one shot factory striders or even harversters so is pretty much the bile titan delete button The EAT is the best AT option in my opinion if you don't bring a dedicated AT support weapon but sometimes I'm lazy so I just bring the 110mm
