On 10 it’s run and gun. Don’t stand in one spot and pick your fights. Blitzer is awesome now and the main benefit no ammo usage. On 10 ammo can make or break the mission.

Anytime you take a fight, you're going to be extra ammo hungry because you don't have a team to spread the ammo usage. And breaches/patrols are more frequent than your resupply CD

I've found the Blitzer solid vs. terminids for a while now, with the exception of when they're right up in your face and it just refuses to hit them. You're still at the dubious mercy of that buggy arc hit detection sometimes

Love Blitzer. Only issue with Stalkers is that there's a bug where they go invisible, jump, heal. You can get stuck in a loop where you shoot while it jumps+heals, indefinitely, lol.

Same. Take a Quasar with it and your Grenade or Medic armour of preference. Ask who needs to pick stuff off the ground. It’s a great loadout to help your team since one of them can grab a second resupply.

Blitzer has been glued to my primary slot as of recently now vs bugs. My loadout for everything up to 10 is as following: - Guard dog rover - commando RL - orbital gatling barrage - orbital precision strike Its honestly crazy how the blitzer handles everything besides chargers, impalers and BTs. The guard dog pairs amazing with the Blitzer since it also has unlimited ammo and will give you that little push in DPS you need against swarms while also clearing fodder & hunters that will jump you during the 1,5s downtime inbetween Blitzer shots. honestly, try it. its amazing.

Blitzer has been my only primary vs. Bugs since they added the stagger to it. The CC along with a Stun grenade is too good. In my group, I’m the Heavy killer, so I run 4 reds to deal with the big boys and keep all the chaff away with the Blitzer. Shriekers are my absolute weakness and are terrifying lol. Good to see the Blitzer finally get some love!

your vids make me want to play even though, recently, it has been extremely hard to have fun in this game. i feel like since the warbond drop there has been a massive increase in people that just stand there dying over and over in the same spot, leaving myself and most time one other teammate to run around and complete the map. it has been a rough time diving these days, but you inspire me!

@@Praktical_ yeah it’s a pve game so many people just like to shoot bugs. I enjoy completing to the maps too the fullest while working with my team to be as efficient as possible, I also see a lot of lower level players who play high level missions for either xp or money. Very annoying

I'd run this with one big change: take the dagger for emergency shrieker kills and infinite long-range trash clear. No need for the grenade pistol with an AC. I usually play with one or two friends, so my likelihood of needing to clear holes on respawn away from support weapon is low, and I could honestly take a fire grenade instead of stuns.

4:55 could not agree more, there's no explanation as to why it can go more than 100meters away from its body, there's no way the anatomy allows for the impalers neck to be that long. At the moment the impaler has no innate weakness, what it should be though is that it has limited range and it's slow - so that it's forced to slowly follow you around rather than being able to sit in one location and basically never move.

You should try the smoke grenade against impalers. Throw it at your feet when you see one, and the tentacle just don’t attack you. They just stare and do nothing. Super useful in solo

Btw you can destroy the illegal broadcast with the grenade pistol. I am also happy you are finally on the blitzer team! The stagger is just phenomenal for any kind of play-style. You can take care of any horde if you just give yourself time to deal with them and not rush. You may try it on bots, but it suuuuucks (from personal experience). Also all spews are considered explosive dmg, so if you jump you will have your resistance increased by 90% and they will not kill you instantly.

Blitzer has been my main Terminid weapon for a while, the stagger and the fact it can one-shot Alpha Commanders sometimes is what sold me to keep using it this update. Stagger is probably the most important factor when it comes to primaries for me now, difficulty 10 gets rough without some form of crowd control.

I've noticed blitzer prevents spewers from spitting on you if you hit them while they're "charging up" their spit attack (though you might need a head shot for it to be consistent, not a body/bile sac shot). If you hit them during that process, they'll stop and then not spit on you. It makes it a lot easier to be around spewers in closer range, and allow a stun + quick swap to nade pistol.

I wish the blitzer was more accurate and allowed you to direct your shots towards specific parts. If it did, you could use AT to break a charger's leg armor and easily kill it by shooting the exposed leg. I wonder if that would be considered OP even though you have to destroy that leg armor with a different weapon... Other than that the Blitzer is perfect for me

lad, in the aim settings you have it set on ''remember aim mode'' which is currently bugged after the update and is why you default to first person. Switch that setting to ''global'' that fixes it

I’ve really begun enjoying it. I shoot and move and then shoot again when it charges. I’m constantly moving with the blitzer. I find it to be extremely viable. I’ve started fooling around with the Tesla tower and have begun loving it. I know lots of people hate it, but for anything less than chargers, it will solo but breaches because the bugs will attack it instead of trying to run towards your character.

I am a bigtime stagger enjoyer- I never go into a mission without at least one stagger option for both bugs and bots. Even something small like the pummeler is enough to cancel the spit attack of spewer bugs.

I had an idea for the impaler that I think would be a huge improvement. Every time their tentacle come out of the ground, a small mound of dirt should be facing the direction of the impaler. That way you'd at least have an idea what direction to look

I really hope the devs aren't watching this... Anyways. Imo blitzer is excellent with the laser dog and incendiary grenade (I play difficult 7). You can keep the bugs away with the blitzer while the laser dog kill the bugs and throw grenades if bugs pile up. You can then have 3 stratagem slots for the heavies.

You must have some method for playing on level 10 and seeing very few enemies. I've played it only a few times and have had 3-4 chargers at once, 4 BTs at once, and swarms of medium and small enemies. This seems like level 6. :-D

The biggest thing for level 10 is simply trying to avoid fights, that may sound like a well okay whatever answer, but if you go in and remember to actively take note of avoiding fights when you can, then you’ll find it becomes alot easier to clear objectives and the map, the scout armor passive also helps alot as you can see what your getting into with objectives (long story short try to choose your engagements better)

Precision strike doesn't one shot tentacle bug. My strat (But I dont solo) is Spear + Precision Strike. One rocket + PS = dead. Or Spear + Railcannon shot. Or Spear + 500kg next to him.

Whoever is claiming lasers are META, I want what they're smoking. It takes so long to set things on fire with them that most smaller enemies will die before it happens, and any enemies that will be set on fire tend to be the ones that you don't want to leave alone for the DoT to finish them off, since lasers have no stagger and they'll keep chasing you.

People usually bind the stratagem inputs to the keyboard's arrow keys, and then use their right hand to punch that in while keeping the left hand on WASD. You lose mouse control but it keeps you mobile at least.
