I really like urban warfare. It really makes it feel like combat in a sense. In the Army for some years so this game kind of resonates a little bit and I love this attire on the whole democracy thing. But it's nice to move shoot, communicate with others in a game without risking an actual life. The couple times that I have played the illuminate it's made it when I had a decent team that communicated and it wasn't silent. Granted, I've only played like three matches, but the build ings and the amount of enemies, amount of cover and suppressive fire from them and how they move. Made it so that to be able to get away we had to bound back meaning one shoots. Other one moves other one shoots. The other one moves so that we wouldn't get overrun. It was great!

My punisher is still going strong. I haven't tried that one yet. I've loved the punisher since the game came out. People didn't like it because it was a pump action. I was just watch this. You see that stalker right there? Yeah no you don't. I used The punisher well into level 35ish before moving on to something with a little faster rate of fire.

Strafing runs are pretty good to bring alongside a RR or quasar. You can hit the fabricator/drop ships with a strafe and follow it up with a rocket into the door while its shield is down. Plus the strafe is good for clearing a street full of zombies without having to lay down a ton of ammo.

Armed resupply pods is going to be a friendlyfire nightmare. Any time you run away from enemies and towards the resupply, it will be shooting through you. Calling it now

@@kelmirosue3251 I'm sure they will be a net positive (unlike the firebomb hellpods), but it's likely going to be one of those things like the arc thrower, 380, mortar and Gatling turrets, etc where it's not possible to coordinate with randoms to the point where friendly fire stops happening. It's just inevitable with certain weapons and stratagems in everyday play. Doesn't mean people won't get salty about it though. It's just the only "sentry" in the game now that players actively run towards with enemies often directly behind them. And the gun looks about head level, since the resupply is shorter than divers are

You can use the directional shild with the lance, its really op. Going to enemys in melee combat without fear of bullets. And team members can hide behind the shield too and shooting through it, oh and it can take more dmg than the shield bubble backpack and is much faster back after being destroyed. But you have to be careful about enemys behind.

The hype when first fighting a new enemy, is the same as playing helldivers for the first time. I can say 90% of that hype is back. But also remember, once we get used to fighting them, we find reasons to complain about them, whether it be our weapons or stratagems to the devs. It’s a never ending cycle. We tend to liquify a games new content within a few days, we get bored easily.

I do like that you have some room to work with, unlike terminds, but you don’t get blankets by bullets constantly like automations. I noticed that the overseers are STRONG and maybe I haven’t found a tactic to deal with them yet but if they are the illuminate equivalent of a devestator they are much stronger than their chaff variant

Q. why take this shield if got bubble shield x-times better in game already = both are back packs inventory slots? takes up backpack slot. that doesnt make sense at all its weaker version of bubble shield? 360 & can use any gun weapon with it.. don't make sense at all to take that shield, less its infinite dmg taking kinda of like rienhart shield for team.

Yeah this is just a Vanguard/probing force I think. I would expect more and heavier forces and variety as this invasion goes on. If this how they do it I kind of like it, start out with weaker units in the initial probing attacks and as the invasion ramps up start surprising the players with bigger and better Illuminate units showing up on the battlefields.
