The Flamethrower has been my go too for bugs ever since I did a helldive misson with my buddy. He dolphined dived down this hill yelling,"Light them up!!!" I just started spraying flames everywhere all I saw was my counter go too X138💀

Your video came out while I was duoing with another Helldiver where we both had a full flame meme build: flamethrower, incendiary shotgun, non-impact incendiary grenades, incendiary mines, napalm strike. I took the grenade pistol as well to help with the holes. Then a third frend joined and decided to bring the same build. Chargers go down so fast with three flamers hosing them down!

One really useful tip I've been using against the hunters is "parrying" them. If you melee them right before they make contact you can interrupt them which is actually a game changer. Would love to see you try and implement this in future vids! @Takibo

Another good vid. 5:20 is a good example of why people hate the Hunters, too. One does the damage that 2-3 should, which might be OK if they didn't also stunlock you, knock you down, and get my drive-thru orders wrong every time. Hunters are to Helldivers what Clash is to Rainbow Six. Take away just a single thing they can do and it'd be 10x better

Hey, did you know you could parry most of the bugs with a melee attack? Like when a hunter jumps at you, you can cancel it's attack with a well timed melee hit and not take any damage, it works with any bug you can stagger with your hits basically. I just recently learned about this and it's been a game changer

Heyy takibo I noticed ur able to move while calling in stratagems despite using the default wasd input. Do you use a separate key for your movement ?

I've noticed this as well. At time 14:54, he is sprinting, strafing, inputting strategem inputs, and moving the mouse, with each strategem input key being pressed with the same amount of delay between each press. I am curious and somewhat suspicious of this action.

@@obliv1ous959Try rebinding to the arrow keys on your keyboard. That's what I do, but it requires you to take your hand off the mouse while inputting strategem commands. It's worked fairly well for me, and I can keep moving while I input commands. Other than binding macros, I can't think of a more efficient way to input strategems

I dunno if my experience is a fluke but I found it easy to deal with bile titans when you get under them and use the flamethrower directly at their underside. Of course, you risk getting crushed by their dead body afterwards.

Don’t underestimate hunters. I was playing on easy earlier just to see if I could nab some super credits before I hopped off. I swear, they don’t one shot you, but they hit so fast sometimes that they might as well. They’re a bit inconsistent at this insta-kill behavior but it’s happened to me a few times, especially when I get cocky. Helldivers 2 enemies are not known for their consistency though. Sometimes a charger will 1 shot you, sometimes it will send you flying, sometimes it will just kiss you. It’s really strange and I wonder if there’s random numbers going on or if it’s just luck and physics and positioning.

i dunno what keys he has done but I changed my stratagem buttons to the arrow keys, its a little fiddly at first but it means you can run around while calling stuff in. but also all mission objectives use the stratagem keys to interact so that can be a little annoying until you get used to it

2:00 pretty sure there's a bug in the game where if you weapon swap during a certain point in a reload, it reloads the weapon you swapped to without you inputting it, although doesn't look like that happened there.

You should do 2 Player, second Player calls the guns and shield bag so you can have 4 dmg strategems, and the second Player just kills biotitans so you can get the rest, and in down time he goes and clears side missions to improve spawns

Ive watched all your videos so far andI think you would have an easier time with these kill records if you gave yourself a Guard Dog or guard dog rover. Most of the time you only take shield damage from hunters anyway. I know you like the shield but I think its technically unnecessary, as it gives you opportunities to make more mistakes as its value.

It's too bad they're walking back the difficulty, I kinda like the idea of the highest difficulty solo in a coop game being borderline impossible. It makes it a lot less special of an accomplishment now. If anyone who can complete a mission with a squad can also do solo at the same level then solo becomes meaningless as a test of skill.

Now they're nerfing it so the challenge is essentially gone. If you can complete a squad mission you can probably solo at the same level. I really don't understand the youtubers asking for this change because all it does is water down the accomplishment. I understand the devs said this is unintended but I think they should keep it. Helldive should be *hard*

The thing that makes it annoying is how many of them spawn when everything is done (patrol per 10 seconds) and even worse is that they go straight towards you. I wouldn’t mind the constant patrols as long as I can actually avoid them and they don’t just know exactly where I am. After all, I’m the one with the radar and the bugs are not geniuses.
