In this video, I went into solo helldive mission against the Automatons using the counter sniper and railgun (solo helldive) (all clear)

Multiple times in this video I mispoke and said that the railgun cannot take out gunships. The railgun can take out gunships, but it will take quite a few shots to the engine. I would recommend using literally any other gun to take them out.

It’s just weak against gunships due to the number of shots and charge up time. Railgun + shield or supply Pack and adding in the commando wouldn’t be that bad though

it doesn't have that easy explosion damage that the sniper and scorcher have so yeah it really struggles

14:26 in this situation the only thing you can do to not die is drop your backpack. If you drop your backpack the beacon drops too then you can just pick it back up and you're good to go Same as dropping samples but its on the top left (i believe)

A quick tip for seaf ammo. As you pick up shells, switch your gun and you'll toss it in the direction your facing. You might want to look up slightly to increase the throw range. You just have to time it right. It's a good thing when you're on solo missions especially. I hate seaf site objectives also, but when there's ammo farther away, or in a bunker area, this is super helpful. Great upload bro, look forward to the next.

I think the reason the bot patrols walked into the base at the end there was because you were slipping off the corner of the wall. The enemies in this game can hear things you do at different distances, and they can hear you hitting the ground after falling from silly far away. Pretty sure sliding off that skirting board around 13:20 is when they heard you, the moment you changed elevation. The sound detection is pretty buggy, but if you want to avoid their attention a better bet is just to crouch or prone and hold still.

@Mute if your stratagem sticks to your shield just drop the shield and the stratagem will detach from you then just pick up your shield after the strat lands

I wonder how many players know, when using the Railgun, you can shoot the metal plate on the Scout Troopers (slightly above the part where they can see), and this also kills them instantly. The difference is it's like 10x more satisfying to do so. Not only does it kill them instantly, but if done right it ejects the bot out of their seat.

I'm sure you know this, but Railgun / Scorcher / Supply Pack is decent vs gunships since the supply pack patches up the ammo deficiency of the scorcher. Absolutely a banger off-meta bot loadout. Edit: Whoa, can you talk more about how you knew which side objectives would show up? The segment is around like 3 minutes and I am super interested in this. I have no clue what's gonna spawn most of the time.

So normally it is pretty difficult to figure out what side objectives will spawn in, but this mission made it pretty easy. Since there were only 4 red spots on the map, those were guaranteed to be outposts because there is never going to be less than 4 of those. Because I had already taken out the jammer and could see the escape pod, The remaining 3 side objectives would have to be the artillery, sam site, and radar station. Technically there also could have been a gunship facility since those also do not show up as a red spot on the map, but I didn't think about that.

A second post: when you stick your shield with the stratagem, you can drop your shield pack manually in order to evade the death. You can use this trick to "stick" a turret to someone's shield, have them climb to a high point, and then drop the shield, and the turret will deploy on high ground it would normally bounce off of.

Yes it works. I learned this through someone yelling at me through the mic to drop my shield when the game had just came out

14:25 Hold X then discard Shield Backpack, it drops to ground and stratagem beacon no longer sticks to you.
