The best part of this game is that difficulty doesn't do anything to change enemy damage and health, only what enemies spawn and how many of them do. If you find a reliable way to take out any enemy type reliably and quickly you'll do pretty well in even the higher difficulties.

@@johntidontDoom Eternal does the same thing. Except, instead of increasing enemy spawns, they increase the aggressiveness of the AI (they’ll flank you, have more accurate shots, stick closer to you, etc.)

Then,John Helldiver himself,cross the fuckin opening and leapt into the bunker and stimmed me shoulder. Truly a john helldiver of all time

That's what almost every Helldiver "clutch" is. If things have gotten bad enough that you have (effectively) no reinforces left, you're basically just running around trying to evade the fight long enough to Extract, because at that point engaging is a loss.
