For your copper cladding, there're a couple of things that you could try. The Baremetal corporation makes adhesive backed metal foil in many colors, including copper. I've used it several times and it's always gotten me good results. There's also copper foil tape that's used by stained glass artists. This would probably work just as well, but it's thicker than the Baremetal product. Once you have the metal in place, there are patinating chemicals that will perfectly replicate the verdigris that sea water produces on copper.

@@Yves95128 Thanks for the heads up about baremetal. 'Something that I didn't know. I do know that the stained glass tape is real copper, because it's specifically designed to be soldered. It is, as I mentioned, thicker than baremetal, but, at the scale of this ship, that probably wouldn't be a problem. I haden't heard about the gardening tape. I'll look for it.

Beautiful work Alex. The white/green you used on the interior reminds me of the first ship I was on(1986-89),all the living compartment's were or very close to the color you used. That brings back some memories! This kit is a ton of work I'm sure but in the end it's gonna be a masterpiece. Really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next one. Great video, more well explained content. Very informative and relaxing. Currently all the gun ports on the Victory have been glazed, so they all have windows of one type or another. Some of the windows have been specially made so they can close around the guns when they are in the ready position.

A lot of external details and i really would love to build and Paint all separarem pieces before progressing to the build itself but One thing that always "scares" me a bit and makes me feel insecure is the deck fit.

I like almost all of it except black paint. it looks too plastic. I tried for the first in my life Humbrol spray black and I was amazed how beautifully matt it is. I hope they have that matt for the brushes as the spray version is great. I think it would match victory perfectly Alex

Hi Alex, just got my kit and Dafi set today, I notice that not all gun ports have rigours above them but the Dafi set has enough to put one above each port, did you just replace ones on the hull al. Put a Rigel on all

Hey Alex, what clear varnish U use? I buy Vallejo gloss and I have problem with drying. Its looks like dry, but I feel its not 100% dry even after 2 weeks:/

I use Tamyia clear varnish and/or mission models clear

Plastic glue, tweezers for small pieces, a cutter, the indicated paints ir similar and its thinner, Samsung paper, and its also needed you have a lot of fun
