I've been meaning to do a cover like this for the longest time but never got around to it. I've been working on training my voice to be stronger and I'm getting stronger (slowly) so I thought eh, why not, I'll try my hand at this.
PS. yes that's the Sans Undertale eye-fire thing. No soul on earth can stop me from inserting subtle Undertale references into all of my work and if you think you can, I'd like to see you try.

Alright writing this comment as I listen, wee Oooo, alto notes, starting off deep is always beautiful Also just love the key you picked too "Soul" hits hard, the octave drop is fantastic aaa "Control" hits harder, wavering that note is a perfect choice OOOOOooo into the falsetto, lovely "It's not my fault" is where the song starts getting that bite to it I love "Devil so much stronger than a man" has a beautiful slide at the end "Cast her spell" OOF, the annunciation of cast makes me big happy Vibrato on bone is also lovely Going soft on "mine and mine alone" was a good choice The acting is great, I can hear that fiery (heh) passion as you speak The belting on the first burn is well done! Oh my god this was AMAZING!! Your tone is so beautiful and strong! RIP Tony Jay. next to Mel Blanc, i don't think there's anyone who can match his talent as a voice actor. especially, as a villain. Megabyte (Reboot) The Asylum Owner (Beauty and the Beast), The Elder God (Legacy of Kain series), a snippet role in Star Trek (don't know the name of the character but can easily find it on google), Shao Khan (Jungle Book) etc. he was one of a kind. even if you didn't know his name, you would still INSTANTLY know his voice. there is simply no one else who comes even close to matching his unique deep yet silky gentlemanly smooth voice. the world lost an incredibly rare treasure that day as he apparently was an incredibly sweet man when he wasn't playing the villain.

Wow. This video is so cool. I am glad this video came recommended to me when it did. I do have my own character inspired by Frollo, named Bibset. She happens to be female. So having a female singing Hell Fire does sound like she is singing it. It is fun to imagine. I plan on writing a chapter tonight about Bibset having a lovey dove time with her husband in thier new castle. Then the husband lights up the fireplace to set the romantic mood. I'll spare the gorey details of the chapter. This video really motivates me to write. So thanks for that. I appreciate that. In my writing playlits, there is a part where I add in the better songs of Hunchback of Notre Dame. One is a track for Heaven's Light and Hellfire. So that is probably what gave the KZbin Algorithm the idea to recommend this video. There are changes to the song due to a different gender. The lyric "I am a righteous man" doesn't make sense anymore. Woman is the basic replacement for man, but the extra syllable would mess up the tune. I would like the replacement word be priest or judge. It fits in context without messing up the tune. Granted the word priestess exists, but I don't like using that word. I would rather have both men and women in the specific clergy position being called priests. Bibset is a priest and a woman, and she is explicitly called a priest. The Esmeralda part remains feminine. This makes the woman Frollo sound like a closeted lesbian. Wow, that really raises the stakes. That is so intriguing. It really raises the stakes. I am not saying that lesbians are bad in anyway. In fact, I wholeheartedly believe that lesbians and LGTB+ people in general should have equal rights. What I am saying is that the Christian Church has historically been really REALLY homophobic. Heck in modern times, the more conservative groups are still homophobic. This stuff is very wrong. I just say this to point out the problem. Hunchback of Note Dame took place in the oden days. Characters struggle with the idea that mass slaughtering Romanis, women, heathens and heretics is wrong. If they have a hard time with that, then they are not capable of handling LGTB+ people at all. People interpret Frollo as a character struggling with repression due to his religious position. If Frollo was a closeted lesbian tht makes the repression so much worse. If the lesbian nature is discovered, Frollo would most likely get burned alive just like what happened to Esmeralda. This is a lot of pressure. I find it intriguing as a character issue. There is some controversy in churches about gay clergy and gay marriage. In both cases, I am fully on the side of the gays and advocate for equal rights.
