Hellion Electric Eye Cover Using the Suhr CAA OD100se+

This a classic Judas Priest tune I am covering. The backing track has no guitar except the rhythm during the Hellion and the main solo rhythm in Electric Eye.
I added a rhythm and harmony track to the Hellion.
This is for educational purposes only. Please buy the JP tunes at iTunes and others. This is to show how the OD100 in my rig sounds only.
I used an Apex and an E609 mic to record the guitar. It is NOT doubled. I used a Logic Sample delay on the Apex mic channel and some Waves plugins.

This is an execllent cover of an exceptional metal anthem. Love every bit of it from the tone to the playing. I still however, think when folks look into the camera too much that it's like "Look at me". That being said however, I loved the playing, tone and everything guitar about the cover. Great job!

Great stuff as always Mark. A question though - do you wear frets out quickly? I seem to wear through them very quickly. I ask because we have a similar vibrato/bend style. Cheers - great stuff again!

@3:05 you slide up to the 9th fret and start a palm muted run, that run always sounded like muffed pentatonics but it looks like you're playing a scale, maybe partially chromatic ??? What basically is the run you start at 3:05 ? Tipton does alot of that same kind of real nasty palm muted run in other songs too. Sounds great, Thanks much !

HI Mark. what strings are you using? great vibrato technique of yours. I just pulled the trigger on a Suhr Modern. Alder Body with flamed maple top, maple set neck with ebony fretboard. I hope it sounds as good as yours.
