What difficulty do you play on? I usually play on the hardest because I hate myself, ik difficulty affects npcs aim, so maybe it taps the spawn rates too. RNG is also a bit weird so maybe the game just hates us idk.

What I did was solo decov on max difficulty until my brain went numb, since it's the shortest mission, you're the least likely to die (replaying at checkpoint = XP penalty), solo adds a massive bonus, and if you try to ziptie as many zpcs as you can, as well as lockpicking most doors. I've been able to squeeze out 30K+ XP on average with a lot of runs giving me 40k-50k. Sensei made it really hard to grind cuz he doesn't like people speedrunning / farming. (also, the other 2 missions really don't offer that much of an XP benefit, as you'll still get around the same amount as decov for way more effort)
