The fact that the wife who was concerned by her husband who was not letting them sleep didnt win compared to a dude who was flying and not hurting anyone but himself really stresses me out. The poor children of that family were most likely in poor health, but I guess the audience rather just judge people on doing "strange" things , because they look crazy rather than a person who could be permanently damaging his children's health. I really dont understand this logic at all. That poor boy looked like he was dying.

I think the same thing, although the second concern was seriously an idi*t The first concern was like... deathly over the long term. It is actually considered child abuse in my country. The kids are not growing well and are sickly. :O

I liked how Yoseob talked about how famous inventors held on through failures & eventually succeeded before concluding that his dream was NOT going to work. He showed that he completely understood what fairy tale the guy was living in before snapping him out of it.

first concern: This is what you do.. take some heavy-hard-to-break chains, bound him to the bed. Tape his mouth. Put a blindofold on him, cover him with a blanket, so he wont catch a cold, set the alarm to how you want it, and then go to sleep. He's chained so the bed wont be shaking too much, when he wakes up at 1am or 2am. Eventually he will get used to sleeping for 8 hours a day.

if i were to have a dad like that first person who complaint, i wont be surprise if i actually run away from home. that guy is total nuts. everyone has got different sleep cycle and he expect all of them to all sleep for only 4 hours. especially kids. Kids usually need at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep. that man is crazy i say. cant help but to feel annoyed the whole time when he talks. i hope he sees my comment seriously. if you want to die, please die by yourself. dont bring your family down with u. tsk. and the fact that his job is just giving lecture at home. oh please.

for the flying guy: Please learn physics! -_- I mean the bones of a bird are hollow and are therefore able to weigh light enough to fly. If Humans wanted to fly we at least need a length that is multiple times longer than the length of a body. you also have to calculate your weight into that and the weight of the construction. Humans will never fly in the same way as a bird, unless a wonder happens. And I don't even study physics and I know this much, this means he didn't do any research at all. Although not everything what I say is exactly correct (I don't have a source) just watch science of stupid (a programme XD)

I could kiss you right now. I was thinking the same damn thing. Like first the structure of a bird or any flying animal's bones is thin and hollow and constructed in a way very different from ours and that dude's contraption. Not only that but the was a bird's feathers are layered help with movement and flight not just that their beak and head shape and position play a very great deal in this flight process. The fact that its obvious that this guy didn't even make his thing look anything like a bird's body hell even a plane's structure should tell someone something. Like physics, environmental sciences and biology are here for a reason. I believe that everyone has a right to dream because that's what makes great people. The only problem is that the thing that separates great people from the fools who dreamed is that they work and think things through

Do you think that they should invite a pyschologist/scientist to be on this show?? Like just talking at the end of the show/each concern to give advices/scientific information needed? Because I see MANY of the concern are about selfish people, sometimes ppl with abnormal thinking and even pyschotic problems. Sometimes the show focus on things which is most fun to watch, not most serious.

+Mai Hoa Nguyễn i totally agree. during the first concern, if they only had a psychologist there, the husband could have been told the importance of sleep and how youngsters especially are supposed to get more hours of sleep than adults. if he sleeps less that 7hrs a day for three days he is at risk of developing diabetes, and hormones including those affecting his frontal lobe (aka decision making/self control) and his digestive system (aka he doesn't release the hormone telling him he's full) are highly affected. correlation does not equal causation so although when he started sleeping 4hrs things got better for him, that does not mean it was due to his sleeping habits. also obviously the fundamental problem is his selfishness and lack of empathy so that could be easily addressed?? once i even saw someone with narcolepsy be posed as a concern on this show, but since there was no psychologist/medical profession present no one even mentioned that it was narcolepsy and he should see a doctor.

I feel really bad for the first family. The dad, in my opinion is crazy! Having only the oldest in elementary school too. And it sure definitely is hard for the youngest too. I could see the dark circles growing bigger on the poor kid's face. And about the early death, I think that even if he doesn't mind dying at an early age, he should at least care for his children, for they are much younger than him. He should take the advice given to him and sleep at least 7 hours and let the kids sleep in a bit later. It's one burdensome concern. Especially for health of young children.

I first watched this episode 1-2 years ago. I think this when I first discovered Beast and became infatuated with Gikwang's beauty. So happy for Highlight that they have their own company now and hope for a long, happy union once all the members get released from the military (Yoseop just got released recently!). It is sad seeing Junhyung here, being very funny and charming (even reminding me of my beloved Min Yoongi from BTS). But now longer part of the group because of his part in the creepy scandal with JJY. I hope the best for them all and hope Junhyung will reflect and become a more ethical person.

When the dad falls asleep at 8pm, wake him up every 10 minutes! Wake him up until he screams and hits you because he wants to sleep, and then get in his face telling him that's how you've felt for the past 1.5 years and it's going to stop. Now. However, it's Korea and the man of the house is not to be talked back to, so these "simple" solutions are actually very awkward and not in the realm of possibility for many. I've noticed a great many concerns involving fathers or husbands are purely because he's basically a jerk who knows he can't be contradicted.

Lee Young Ja is my hero in this episode. You can tell how infuriated she is at the father. As a certified armchair psychologist, I think the dad is a textbook narcissist. It's all about him. The guy has to realize that the reason why he is not staying in the air for long is because his equipment is too heavy and because of that Gravity is pulling him to the ground. His "wings" need to be lighter so that the air can carry him and help him stay in the air longer.

the guy who was talking about flying may seem crazy but he is what develops our world. a lot of scientists and great inventors were thought to be crazy but they made the impossible possible. so i actually think its really cool that this guy is trying so hard to fly. he's actually doing trial and attempt and its like a real scientific experiment. all great scientists were mad. maybe he is a little cuckoo, but i think its awesome.

Every time that I watch this show, it makes me realize how differently people take certain problems and issues. During some of these concerts, it just makes me so irritated at some of these people!! One of the factors may be because I have the mindset of a person from an individualistic country so my opinions really differ from the hosts and guests sometimes, but on the other hand we have had many idols from North America as well so I'm sure that some of them have the same thoughts that I do too! The one person that I can think of right now who was able to get a word out was Amber from f(x) during one of their episodes. I mean what if the opinions given from a foreigner will change the situation for good? What if the advice given is just what is needed to help solve the issue? We will never know if they aren't being said! I'm sure that some other guests may have stated their opinions as well, but maybe have been edited out or they may have been told not to mention anything since they are idols and that they may ruin the "image" of S. Korea to the international audience. Ugh, it's just ridiculous. If I was to be a guest on the show, you can bet your money I would be stating my opinions and giving advice (Of course I would state them in a more mature way and ask the owner of the concern if it was alright if I gave them my opinion/advice as well). It's just very frustrating (but interesting) to watch this program and for some people not say some of the things that needs to be said. Instead most of these serious problems are being treated as jokes. What is this? The dormant version of the Jerry Springer show? All in all, it is very interesting to see what a few of the S. Korean citizens go through and what their concerns are in everyday life; however, it would be nice if some situations were handled a little better, but what do you expect out of an entertainment show with four comedians as hosts and idol guest stars. I wonder if S. Korea has a serious talk show where problems will slowly be solved with professional help. Something along the lines of Oprah/Dr. Phil/The Doctors/Maury? lol something of the sort, that would be very interesting too! Some of these people just needs some serious professional help though.

It's really amazing that the wife managed to put up with his sleeping habits for more than a year. I probably would've taken the kids and fled & not look back. The lady has the patience of a saint.

2nd concern: It wont work becuase he needs hollow metals. The wings need to have "feathers" so he can shift and turn the wings in the direction of the wind.. I think he needs to study up on aviation before trying to fly. Like right now, he should still be in research mode.. not building and trying it out. Because those things will not work, the design is all wrong.. (lol like I know about flight, but I do know some things about flying) Also if he is going to be "experimenting" then he needs the proper safety equipment. Helmet, wrist pads, elbow pads, knee pads, a chin guard, many things, to make sure that he is safe while in "flight" XD I wont tell him to give up his dreams, because its "cute". XD but really, he needs to put more thought into this, before he really really hurts himself. Woah.. I wrote this beofre he said he had took out a huge loan! WOAH!! No, Dont Try to Fly Right now!! Worry about yourself and how you are going to survive with making losses each month!!

The wings are just wrong 1)The materials are too heavy, 2)The shape of the wings does not work 3) Birds don't flap their wings up and down, the actually push the air down in a bit of a slant. Even if the shape of the wings is perfect, he won't fly anyways because humans are biologically not made for that. 1)A human sternum is not strong enough to support the huge pectoral muscles needed (which he does not have) 2) His arms will get tired after just a few seconds of "flying" 3) Birds have hollow bones in order to make them as lightweight as possible. Our bones are way too heavy. 3) Birds have no bladders which means they don't hold on to any unnecessary weight unlike us. No matter what he does, this guy nor any human will ever fly with "wings" unless they meet those and other extra requirements.

After watching so many episodes of Hello Counselor, I'm glad I'm not living in S. Korea. Many kpop and K drama fans have illusion about Korean culture and society because of the fantasy their idols deliver on the screen. Now, I'll just continue to enjoy Kpop and K drama and be grateful for where I am.

Boom Toma I'm not generalizing, just said that based on how majority audience picked the winners of the show according to how they judged the severity of the problems. Imo, the first concern is the worst among all. This episode is just one example implying incomprehensible mentality of many Korean people. There're other episodes that expose similar concerns that are ignored by many among the Korean audience. Many people also say many negative comments about my country and those are facts. Why deny it????

I can't believe the family who couldn't even sleep for and adequate amount of hours did NOT win!!! I don't even know what's wrong with that audience? And secondly, coming from a family full of engineers... I really just laughed the whole time. Sure, he has some strong will-power (stubbornness) to keep progressing, but if he was really serious about it, he'd do some actual research. The fact that his man-made wings were 10kg, his figure (weight), and the material he used would result in nothing but failure. Which you all have witnessed yourself.

The sister of the dude who wanted to fly said that she didn’t want to give up her dream and was scared of doing so but she wants her brother to quit his dream? i don’t think that the concern is that serious, he has hopes and dreams that he wants to achieve. We need people like him in this world, people who keep persevering even though the odds are against them. Just think about all of the great scientists that we have and had to this day, everybody in their time must’ve also thought that they were crazy and criticized them about their dream too.

The eldest son if the lady in the first concern is cute. But in a way he looked so horrible bc he was sick and tired. I feel so bad for him. Kids need to sleep 8-9 hrs. a day but he only gets half of that. His father is just wrong
