I live out of state, but I swear, I will play this on my flight after arriving to Detroit this Christmas, loud on my phone while inside the plane. Lets see who will sing with me... or, I'll be the first to get off the plane ;)

Sammy worked with my dad at the Elmwood Casino in Detroit. Sammy just messed up the Belle Isle part, but he apologized at the end to the city of Detroit for messing it up! This was on a Johnny Carson show one night.

@KatKiddEnt3 жыл бұрын
He wrote 2 others, also. “Why Me?” And “Hollywood in a Suitcase”. There’s also a book of his photography that his friend Burt Boyar made. It has a picture of Sammy and Jerry Lewis on the cover.

The real title of that book should have been "Yes I Can... If Frank Sinatra Says, 'It's Okay.'" 🤣🤣🤣

According to wickipedia this was the last song he recorded, both as a 45RPM SINGLE and in the LAST LP album he recorded. This apperance was in 1984, and he lived for another 4 years or so before he was diagnosed with cancer of the larynax in 1989, and died from throat cancer in 1990.😢 I think my favorite recording by Sammy Davis Jr. is "WHO CAN I TURN TO."🎶🥂👏
