Hi Tayyaba. Mai Allah say agar kuch aur bhi maang leti mujhayil jana tha. I JUST got an order for a dark emerald green cake. I'll be making it for the first time ever. So i was wondering that buttercream is how i can get that colour. They want a lighter chocolate cake filling. So if i fill the layers with hard whipped cream, crumb coat it with cream but cover it with buttercream, will that be ok?

Hello Zaafira ✨ If you're going to cover your cake with buttercream then crumb coat will also be with buttercream. You can also use ganache for crumb coat. Cream won't work because buttercream won't stick with cream. I hope this helps. ✨
