I agree - loving it and obsess about checking for new one everyday. But I do have to admit - I dislike having to wait. For some reason, I was thinking it was going to be a daily video of the process, rather than a launch of the HelloCustom product. Regardless, I’m still sticking with the series - just wasn’t what I originally thought. Same question here. Before I go with Hello Custom I need to know if it makes the pdf transparent background somehow. Our designs will only work with transparent background. Can't we just upload a transparent png instead or does it have to be pdf? And if so, please reassure us that the design will be transparent background. Final question, what about photos? My customers will want their own photos or fave pics to be printed. Can Hello Custom handle that too? Can't see a tag for photo/image in your TAG parameters.

I have had a pretty frustrating experience today trying to get my products onto Hello Custom. There is no help button or any way to find out how to manage the interface.The first problem I encountered was when I uploaded the pdf, it didn't separate the text. I never could get the first image to work. Then I found you didn't have fonts that matched Canva fonts. I finally figured out what to do to upload the fonts I designed into my designs. But your uploader only works intermittently and there are no instructions to follow. I'm about to give up. I spent all day on this and it should have taken 2 hours to get everything formatted. Is there a size limit on the font uploaded? There's nothing anywhere to give me a clue how to solve any of the issues. Do you have a customer care team?

Already took it for a spin. Works PERFECTLY! Literally takes 2 minutes once you have a properly formatted PDF. The only issue I ran into was file size uploads... i have some super hi-rez graphics for canvas prints and they're too big to upload. Would love to get that resolved asap. Personalization is absolutely critical here in 2023. Thanks so much for creating this, i'll be a subscriber for life.

Watched the videos through several times. The strategy involves setting a break even price for the first wave of posting to rise to higher ranking pages as sales increase. He said in episode 4 that 20% of the sales a listing can be expected to generate happen before the product ranks to page 1 and 80% thereafter. It’s very targeted.

I have a question. I've gone back and forth as to whether I should have different Etsy shops depending on what's being sold. The Etsy shop I've had the longest I sell Cash Envelopes. I've recently added a few digital products and register for the envelopes themselves. What I'm unsure about is if I'd like to sell digital products that aren't cash envelope related and then also doing POD products. I've had conflicting answers as to whether having all of these products in one shop or if I have my initial shop stay as my cash envelope shop, then do the digital products in shop, and the POD in a third shop. What is the best way to do this?

Every video I watch someone is explaining a new app you can use but you didn't specify that is not actually free. Yes you can sign up free but their is a cost as well. It began to get a little confusing when now they mention free and this is the best app but not the cost especially when you are starting a business trying to make money without all these money priced apps up front for the first time. It began to get a little discouraging with all these videos out their selling apps to you without ever getting started. How can you make money without several different apps people explaining you need to succeed and you are trying to get their without all the cost they are implementing up front all the time with apps they say you need all the time. I just don't get it. It's like I can teach you how to make money but first I need to promote these apps to make my make my money first whether your business succeed or not just purchase these apps.... so how about showing us how to get there first and then give the us the option video.

Great question! Because the variations are with the personalization element, yes. You would need to create a different template for each to be able to automate this.

When you upload your PDF, HelloCustom will scan the fonts within the template. If you tag a text element that uses a font not found in your font library, you will need to upload the font to publish. I hope that helps.

How does a person make a profit on ETSY when they are selling a product for $9.95 for a t shirt and they give FREE shipping. The rest of the store has the same prices, the math does not add up.

This is the display price. Etsy displays the cheapest variation on the listing first. If you click on the listing and select the variations, you will see that only 1 variation is $9.95 and the rest are probably $20.

Great question, currently HelloCustom can only do 1 graphic per product. So, if you have different graphics uploaded to the different sections, it may lead to an error. If you only add 1 graphic to the leggings, HelloCustom will know to put the graphic from the template there. I hope that makes sense.

Great question! The cost is per graphic personalized after the order. So, you can have as many templates as you need, and we only charge after a personalized order is placed and HelloCustom makes the graphic.

Nvm then. Won't use service. Great idea, but just another cost. In Canada it's 42/month then and 0.35c/graphic. Figured the monthly charge would be enough. I could even understand 0.35/template, but not per sale. POD profits dimish enough already.

Feel a bit duped as I had hoped this was an honest POD challenge and not a sales pitch, but whatever, there is always an angle isn't there? It does explain how exaggerated your sales examples were for customized items from the VERY few that are making huge sales on Etsy and making it seem like it was all because of customization. I was wondering when the "buy my training series" was coming, i should have guessed it was a platform for those that can't be bothered to learn a graphics program. Just makes me question all the other advice you have given on this "tutorial" series.

Has anyone managed to operate this yet? I'm really struggling. When I save my design on Canva as a PDF then upload it onto Hello Custom, it selects the whole design, not just the text box that I want to personalise. I've tried going back into canva and unlocking it, locking it, I've tried everything I can but each time I upload it onto Hello Custom I can only select the entire design, not just the text. Anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong please?

Have you seen our updated tutorial video? We no longer require you to manually enter the SKUs. If you click on the ‘Product variants’ button, select the Etsy product, then the SKUs will automatically be pulled in.

@@HelloCustom - I think the problem comes from copying and changing an Etsy listing. I think it's best to create in Printify, which then appears in Etsy, add all the product listing details in as a new listing, then create in HelloCustom, and your SKU will appear.

Only works us, printify us based, everbee stuck at USD for currency and setting up printify in the uk is not as simple nor is etsy, there's other settings you need to take into account and setup for tax reasons and if you're not sure what you're doing...Great for us based but others unfortunately not :)

Do you need to enter a SKU in order for it to be sent to Printify? I don't have SKUs on Etsy for my personalized items as I have to manually edit the names before importing to Printify and didn't want them to automatically route to Printify.

Are we entering the SKUs that Printify generates for each color and size? If yes, then that sounds tedious.

Does Hello Custom give customers a preview of their shirt prior to ordering like Corjl?

In the sample design the name and date are both straight across. If the deaign has a name or number that is slanted and fit into something like a heart, will the software be able to still read and enter the informative correctly?
