The success of this show is well deserved. Beautifully shot and great characters. It's pretty much the same format every week but it's like a comfy pair of slippers it just works. Despite murder being at the centre of the show, it is fun, quirky, entertaining and funny. 10 years down the line and it's ratings continue to blitz almost everything averaging well over 9 million viewers an episode.

Love love love Neville Parker!!!! My only disappointment with season 10 is: no Ruby ): But I love this show so so so much! Episodes of 5 & 6 were two of my all-time favorite episodes ever!

Agreed it was a great season. Having Josephine back as Florence full time was a big boost for the series, plus all the classic characters on guest returns.

I'm a really big fan of the show..❣️ But can I respectfully ask.. is it a kid show now?... like the too new officers are like children.. and the Detective, it's like he's there teacher and they are on a class outting.. at least the others look like adults.. and how can that young guy be a officer.. when he was arrested before.. but the commission is niece (who looked like an adult) was worried about her job.. when Jp found out..🤔.. I'm just saying it's not many good shows on TV anymore.. This is a good one.. when you can get pass the main character being changed.. it's because the foundation and solid... Now the foundation is being... shaking?🤔... Well you know what I mean. Oh... And I so enjoyed seeing Darlene.. yeah I'm on episode 5 season 11..

Ben Miller was the Best detective, after he left the show went down hill and they just keep pushing it over the cliff with inexperienced actors..either get serious or cancel the show

He was good but the show is truly good regardless of him. It has mystery, plots, action. It is so well written i believe anyone with acting skills can come in and do a good job . I think this new cast is fantastic. The new detective is great he came in and fill his shoes. The others actors and actresses are just as good. They have my blessings i hope this cast stay for a couple of seasons and really hope death in paradise stay on for a long time because it is truly entertaining.

I have loved all 4 of the inspectors. My favorite is the current one, Ralf Little as Neville Parker. I have loved every episode of this magnificent show!

@@freemangriffin4953 I've loved all three...I'm yet to meet Ralf Little as I'm still watching Season 8 but I know he'll be good as I always did like him in The Royale Family. Can't wait to 'meet' him!!! I love all the detectives little quirks.
