While imagining a fight between John Wick and Robert McCall is fun, the real pleasure is imagining them teaming up. Between John Wick's sheer will and McCall's tactical expertise, they'd dominate.

I worked on this film as a PA here in my city Boston, it wasn’t filmed in NYC lol. Our accent is similar and so are certain neighborhoods but unless you’re from one of the two cities, most people struggle to tell the difference. Denzel was a pleasure to work with and truly a humble man and super down to earth. It’s always fun watching back scenes that I was apart of scene by scene. This was a long production and went past the deadline so it was a bit stressful and the budget exceeded but it was well worth it. Loved the reaction fam🤎

The end scene where Denzel is replying to help someone on his laptop is a nod to the 1980's tv show. Robert McCall would advertise in a newspaper help for people who had no where to turn, which was the premise for each episode of the show. Also the 1980's tv show had a very good synth theme tune(kzbin.info/www/bejne/opvZlYeeZs-kY7s) , as you where commenting on this movies soundtrack.

The tattoo cliche is not a cliche. Russian tattoos and Japanese tattoos are EARNED, each one of them connected to a deed they did. By showing his body covered in tattoos, they announce how dangerous the character is, along with the various deeds he's done over the years. It's basically a criminal resume.

Antoine Fuqua and Denzel have made 4 movies together all worth a watch, Denzel is a rare example of a top tier award winning actor that will still do (supposedly) lower brow movies if he feels a connection to the director, and Fuqua like Tony Scott before him always knows how to get the most out of Denzel, he must be a wonderful collaborator on set

In a fight between Robert McCall vs John Wick, who would win? They have the same set of skills, and probably the same age. they're ruthless and quite determined to finish their missions. The equalizer is more stealthy with his kills, he likes to negotiate with the big dogs before taking them down and uses backup when he's in trouble. He barely takes damage. John on the other hand, is basically a one man army. He kills everyone who gets in his way, makes a huge scene, breaks rules, gets injured a lot, doesn't have a lot of backup and when he gets help, he has to give up something important like his finger or freedom. Robert is collected, john is impulsive. Imho, there wouldn't be fight to begin with. Robert would talk to john, try to reason with him and john would explain why he's on a killing rampage, robert would understand and offer his services to help him out.

Classic TV series becoming films or film franchises and actually being successful is a rarity. The Equalizer was one of them. One man to even up the odds for the innocent. Bringing the pain to the bad guys that deserve it. I loved the tv series from the 1980s. When I heard it was going to be adapted, I lost my mind. Originally it would've been Russell Crowe as McCall, Paul Haggis (Crash) as director and set in New York to match the series itself. Denzel as McCall and Fuqua directing was even more exciting. They didn't try to copy the show, beat for beat (except for the last scene with his own classified ad). The movie was also released in the IMAX format. This became Denzel's highest grossing film ever. Part 2 was even more kick-a**. Part 3 is on the way for 2023. #GutsOverFear👊💥

16:36 honey has anti-bacterial/anti-microbial qualities that make it highly resistant to spoilage. It’s why you can dig up 5,000-year-old honey and it’s still edible. I can’t remember the exact biomechanics behind how honey resists infection, but if I remember correctly the main aspect of such a quality to it is that it sucks out almost all water/moisture from any infectious pathogens that might get into a wound, either killing then or rendering them inert.

One of my favorite movies with Denzel Washington in it. Is Glory. The cast in that movie is top tier. Now Denzel Washington was a young man at the time of the movie, and not really the lead actor. The movie is about the first black unit raised by the Union in the American Civil War. You should do a reaction to that movie.

This movie is based on an 80's tv show. *"It starred Edward Woodward as a retired intelligence agent with a mysterious past, who uses the skills from his former career to exact justice on behalf of innocent people who find themselves in dangerous circumstances, while sometimes also dealing with people from his past in covert operations who want to pull him back in or settle old scores."* The new tv show stars Queen Latifah.

(The Killer, Hard Boiled, Replacement Killer) He also did Face Off, Mission Impossible 2, Broken Arrow, The Big Hit, Windwalker etc and the upcoming Silent Night (2023) Fun fact: It's because of the movie The Killer that people started using 2 guns in the 90s (Inspiration for Samuel L Jackson speech in Jackie Brown when he talks about selling gun)

Wasn't the penthouse scene in this movie with the trust fund guys or wall Street guys doing coke and assaulting that girl in this movie? I really like that scene. Maybe it's in the sequel. Either way Denzel pulled this role off flawlessly. His portrayal reminded me of my Father's demeanor and he was a combat veteran during Vietnam who did things you don't want to repeat out loud. It was in his eyes and how he calculated the time to perform actions. Every second counts.

Heres how I compare the two first Robert McCall hes so highly trained as a killer. That when he kills no one knows he's even responsible. No matter how brutal the death is he leaves no evidence or trace of himself. No one knows who he is or what he's capable of I mean he needed to fake his death to get out of his job. Then no matter what's going on he is always planning. Now John wreck on the other hand basically he's a highly-skilled Hitman that's it. Hes capable of killing anyone of any object but that's easy enough said thats proven in the equalizer. Anyone can grab a knife or sharp object and kill somebody. But John is not a real professional because everyone knows who he is. Well the Smart ones do when he makes a kill someone knows it's his kill. He is recognized by people in the whatever he worked in. All that means is he's a ruthless killer that does not make him a professional killer. Because professional Killers kill then can disappear completely. Like they were never there to begin with but everyone in the Underworld knows who John is. Thats why I like and prefer Robert McCall better. Because he's a true professional killer because the only one that truly knows how many people he's killed is him. Because he kills and then disappears without a trace. Whare as John on the other hand he's just a really highly skilled killer and anyone. In the underworld knows who he is and how many people he has killed. So hes not on the same level as Robert McCall.
