As one European vlogger who teared up when he visited Batanes once said "Batanes is Batanes. It has its own unique beauty. It doesn't have to be a copy of another country". No need to compare it with other countries.
@imeldarose60684 ай бұрын
@@eddieboeing777 yes. Batanes is Batanes!!! I really don't like comparing every place, I mean that place is supposed to be similar. because they have their own beauty and uniqueness.
@jaimedominicpanelo72464 ай бұрын
There's a good purpose for that. It's just a description just so they can figuratively visualize how Batanes looks like, readily Usually when someone asks curiously how a person looks like, we surely pick a famous star who resembles for the description, not any random neighbor that's not seen on spotlight. Same with places. New Zealand was on Lord of the Rings movie. Anyway, thanks for reacting. I'm amused. It's fun commenting, like breaking the ice to start a discussion. 😀

I do agree. I have been to Batanes and it is like NZ. Everything is beautiful and there are less people. But by the 3rd day, I was already craving fast food. 😅

@@wps3023 If you look at the map of Northern Luzon, Vigan is nearer Batanes than Visayas Region. Batanes, from Ilocos, is accessible by chartered plane. Kulas Becoming Filipino even brought his scooter Cindy to Batanes, so even cars can be brought by ferry boat.

Vigan was established by the Chinese, when the Spaniards came, they took control of the town and governed it, this is why most of the buildings are owned by Chinese families and was built in a mix of Chinese and Spanish, outside the city was the land of the Ilocano tribes who later mixed with the Chinese and Spanish resulting in todays Vigan population.

iloilo is also a good choice if you guys really want to stay in baguio as you can easily inquire available houses in baguio as it is relatively close. But I will highly recommend tagaytay and pampanga as it is relatively closer to NCR where it is close to places you visited before.
@denniszenanywhere4 ай бұрын
Why is property value in tagaytay not going up as much?
@anonymoussomeone21194 ай бұрын
@@denniszenanywhere not as much as long as not in the main city but if just renting it would not cost as much as baguio and far less crowded. There's a lot of condominiums being built at tagaytay and even if they want to rent a house they can find less cheaper just outside the main city. Baguio is super crowded so I was against them trying to move there. I lived in baguio for years and have been visiting it frequently for years and the only thing good there is the cold weather in summer and that's pretty much it. They also love to visit and travel and that will cost them more as they have to constantly change car tires every once in a while if they go down baguio to visit new places and that's not including gas.
@denniszenanywhere4 ай бұрын
@@anonymoussomeone2119 It's easy to fix Baguio as it's small. Making it a biking city with lifts and banning all cars will make it less congested -- also better for the environment. Enforcement is only problem -- and might as well add discipline.
@anonymoussomeone21194 ай бұрын
@@denniszenanywhere no matter how you fix baguio as long as they don't reduced all the PUV's and Jeepneys it's not going to work. Even limiting tourist vehicles will not be enough as that is the main source of income for 80% of baguio.
@denniszenanywhere4 ай бұрын
