Why should you learn 'Rhythm of English' ?

English has a unique rhythm. It sounds like music and looks like waves.If you want to hear exactly and speak fluently like a native speaker, you have to learn it. We are teaching the English way of thinking and linking sounds rules for the first 3 months and then the rhythm of English for the next 3 months. We don't teach it in a typical way but we will train you in a very practical way so that you can apply it to real situations.

I'm American and the sample she gave... "He probably doesn't even remember what you said". and "if you keep thinking negatively about exercise, you're never gonna enjoy it " Made me laugh. Not the best example. Sounds like they were speed talking and whispering. How can a non native understand that when a native can't even understand that really. Watch documentaries or something else from an American channel. They will have nice speaking speakers. But this video is still interesting. And can be helpful for non native speakers. But find a NICE and NORMAL documentary most of them they put on KZbin are CRAZY hahaha. Embarrassing. And if your moving to America. Welcome. We are not all crazy like they portray us on the news and KZbin 🙄

The idea of asking students to repeat a sentence before seeing it is good but the low sound quality prevents them from doing so - some background noise makes all the sentences indistinct. This could be frustrating for learners.

she just means say a schwa instead of the vowel sounds so just say a (quiet) "uh" like in: "uh-mEh-ri-cuhn" for "american"

When you pronounce "i HAVE to," it sounds like you pronounce "have" with an /f/ in place of the /v/ like "half" instead of how you otherwise do.

it is more natural to pronounce the V and as F because it is more natural to make a softer F sound when transitioning to a dental T. Like the sound phhht. So when contracting the words just as we say 'gonna' instead of 'going to', so we will say 'hafta' instead of have to, when speaking fast. This is not a rule, it's just the normal way that spoken languages evolve. In fact 'gonna' is very nearly a word these days. This is why so many people incorrectly will say "I would of" instead of "I would have" because when contracting 'would have' to 'would've' is sounds like "would of".

In the word Americano, are all syllables except for "ca" are considered schwa and pronouced accordingly?

In "Americano" only the first 'a' and 'i' are schwas. I'm American and I would pronounce this word "uh - mare - uh - KAH- no". It's just that the "ca" part is given extra stress.

Those audio clips are way too fast, even for advanced students. It gives the false impression that you have to speak quickly to use linking words, that is not the case.
