Funny how things work out sometimes: Without Andy Deris Helloween would`ve been dead long ago, and then without the reunion Helloween would´ve been nothing special the last years.. But with Andy Deris, Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen together? At least for me that is all I ever wished for and didn`t even know it.

The guy with Red flying V guitar are Kai Hansen, founder of Helloween back in 1983 and former vocalist of Helloween, before talented Michael Kiske come along in 1989. Kai Hansen quit Helliween in the 90s and founded Gamma Ray. A band that I hope anyone will recomend and you react to. Great reaction. ❤

Guitars - different shapes are a matter of preference/design - the 'pointy' ones are variations of a Gibson Flying V (iconic!) but lots of guitarists have their own versions Most average guitarists will have one of a Gibson Les Paul style, a Gibson SG style, a Fender Stratcaster or a Fender Telecaster - and the 101 variants :-) The sound is driven by the humbuckers - the magnetic bits under the strings where they strum - they drive the tone and sound of a guitar The 'aggression' (aka distortion) comes from either an effects pedal the player will stamp on/off (distortion, chorus, flange and loads more!), or the amplifier they use - tons of these but Marshall, Fender probs the most famous I've got 9 guitars in total, all different styles, some tuned into different keys (ie drop A, B, D, Standard EADGBE etc), I use various Ernie Ball strings (these again can impact sound!), and a Fender Princeton amp, no pedals bar a clean/overdrive switch.

This is the ultimate Helloween song. Genre defining I would say.. Crazy team work required and personally with both singers really great and I did not think this was gonna work after I heard they would do this together. But even better than the 80s version with only Kiske (the bald man) who was seen as the only ultiamte singer of that band. I just love those newer live versions because they made it work.

There's no such thing as a stupid question. Everything matters when it comes to the guitar. Lol. The shape of guitars matters basically if it feels comfortable for the user, but also the amount of wood, the type of wood, and the electronics which is the pickups and the insides, is what makes the guitar. different Wood gives it a different sound, as well as the pick ups. which is basically like the microphone for the strings on the guitar. I learned to play the guitar, mostly while sitting down and on a flying v(which is the v shape guitar in this video), and for me, it felt almost the same playing it sitting or standing up, which is mainly why I continue to use the V. Comfort.

The shape of the guitar body doesn't affect the sound so much. What makes the difference is that different models have different pick ups and electronic and that's what makes them sound different.

The shape of the guitar itself has very little, if anything at all, to do with the sound. It's just a shape you like. Type of pickups, type of wood, type of strings and such things are what matters for your tone. And your amplifier of course.
