You know the heavily ironic thing? Anderson ABSOLUTELY could have beaten and killed Alucard here. If he had pierced Alucard with that nail, it would have all been over, and Alucard was just suicidal enough and respected Anderson enough that he would have allowed him a chance at that. But instead he pierced himself, tried to match monster for monster, and while he dealt severe damage, still lost to the more experienced and willful elder and rendering the Nail of Helena powerless, and broke Alucard's heart in the process. Alucard desperately wants to die for his sins both as Vlad Tepes of Wallachia and as Count Dracula, and strongly desires that his death comes at the hand of a human without aid of either the divine or demonic. He wants humans to surpass their dependence on and fears of such beings forever, so that something like him, a being driven to such pain and despair that he forsook his humanity and became a living scourge on all he surveyed in the name of indiscriminate Evil, can never exist again. Anderson pretty much spat in the face of that and declared himself Alucard's direct opposite, as "(he) wanted nothing more than to be a bayonet. A bayonet wielded by the hand of God. I would have been happy to have been born a storm, or a divine threat, a mighty explosion or even a terrible hurricane. A divine force of nature without a heart or mercy. And if this relic could transform me into such a thing, then I am happy to abandon my Humanity."

Always loved the concept of these two being conduits for higher powers not meant for humanity. Truly shows that the extreme of either side only brings death and judgement that was removed for a reason. Even better shows that Alucard understand/respects the value of hope for humans that take on monster like himself.

The thing with Alucard / Dracula is that he believes that he should be the only monster in the world to exist, and that his fate is to die at the hands of mortal men. It's why in the original series, he had respect for Anderson up until he himself became a monster to fight him. That's the reason you see the moment in 15:24 where Alucard is like "Oh hells no..."

And in the original series the gun Walter gets for him is specifically built to counter Anderson's nanites which is why his hand/arm doesn't heal immediately. And it's only in the moment you referenced that Alucard points that gun directly at Anderson's head.

4:47 One of my favourite missed jokes in the show. Its a double layered one too because HU:A only released an episode once per year. So alucard saying "its only been two days, but it feels like years" is because it was literally years. The second layer is that the original show also only released one episode per year, so somehow the effort required to make each abridged episode meta-parodied the actual release schedule of Hellsing Ultimate.

Interesting piece of lore : Alucard's power is seal away. In the episode with the brothers, he say : Release restrain to lvl 1 (he do the same vs the Dandy Man but he dont say it out loud). Original anime explained more on this, his second gun that he requested in episode 2 is specifically anti-Anderson, powerful enough to inflict massive damage trough all his defenses and regeneration. This is why there is such a massive difference with episode 1 where Anderson no-sold a headshot.

If you didn't catch it the end theme is an original, but a conceptual parody from the musical Hamilton. Obviously chosen for close enough rhyme scheme between Alexander Anderson vs Alexander Hamilton 😆. It's honestly what I consider one of their most brilliant and creative ideas.

In my opinion, as many things TeamFourStar do, the parody ended up better than the original, and I really enjoy Alexander Hamilton, i've never been intrested in any play whatsoever but, i'm really hoping that someday they're gonna do a World Tour, and hopefully Brazil is one of the countries they'll visit, because I REALLY WANT TO SEE IT, IN PERSON, I refuse to watch it online, it must not be the same thing, and since i'm terrified of heights/planes, no chance of me travelling to the US, now back to the topic, even tho i'm an huge fan of the original, Alexander Anderson is simply on another level, and I don't even like animes/Hellsing outside of TeamFourStar's main parodies.

Fun fact: The backstory the song ascribes to Anderson is based on an oder (and _very_ nsfw) work by Kouta Hirano, in which a drug dealer ends up fighting vampires while hiding in a church. That character is very similar to Anderson - to the point where it doesn't take much to treat them as the same person. (When he appeared and saved the surrounded Integra, some of the names the nazis referred to him as also referenced it.)

Lots of interesting lore revealed in this episode . To begin let's start with how blood works,as Integra explains in the actual episode, Blood is the currency of the soul, and the vehicle of life . it animates the living through blood ( or the soul you might say) , and when you consume blood you take unto your soul the individual in question's soul , this is why consent is important in the case of Seras and Pip, and why she turns into a unique true vampire and why she angrily tells Zorin she won't drink her blood in the ova , that would mean to take Zorin into herself. Now then there's Alucard and how he works. It's a bit of a mistake to see the monster called the vampire Alucard as a single powerful individual, he is a vessel, a container for something rather unholy. starting around this time Integra, Anderson and the major start to make comparisons of him as a fortress or a castle , cause when Alucard consumes someone he doesn't just take their soul, he makes them submit to him , becoming both a source of near limitless invulnerability and an army of familiars at his beck and call when he gets permission to use level zero. But it's important to note this is also his most vulnerable moment, with no souls to shield himself with he can be killed. But ultimately again I urge you and anyone who read this to watch the original anime, cause the end of this in the ova is infinitely more beautiful and heartfelt, particularly Anderson's last words to Alucard .

The one thing I wish they would of established in the parody from the real show is that they hint that Dracula can't die by the hand of a monster or a good he must be defeated by a human and that's the reason he serves the van helsing line cause he was bested in combat and van helsing made him swear to help clean the world of monsters before he would release him from his unnatural life and by giving up his humanity Anderson gave up his ability to beat alucard it's kinda the one thing that goes over people's head watching this and it's just makes drac looks so op that he can deny gods wish to forgive him and come back to kill Jesus fueled Anderson

When Alexander (Motherf✓©king) Anderson appeared to attack Dracula, the song that was playing was "Stoning", from the excellent anime "The Big O". I highly recommend watching it, as it's a very interesting anime, if a bit of a mind-screw at times. But the giant robot battles are severely awesome. You get a real sense of weight for the titular Mecha, Big O, with every step and every punch it throws, and for almost all of the others. I really need to get the DVD set.

No, not quite. Alucard is a vampire, a immortal, un-aging being. In the original show, Alucard actually says that he envies humans because we age and die. And as we saw/heard in episode 7 during Alucard's speech to Seras, he's lost the will to live. Also as we saw/heard during Alucard's talk with Satan, he won't let any other monsters, like himself, exist. As for Alucard dieing, only one being has ever defeated him, Abraham Hellsing, a regular human. Therefore Alucard feels that the only one worthy of defeating him is a human, not a monster. And because Father Anderson is a human, he's worthy of killing Alucard. However, when Anderson turned into a monster to kill Alucard, he lost his worthy-ness.

The Iconic thing is, Alucard enters London how he entered England in the Book, on a Ghost Ship. And yeah the Anderson Battle was wilde. In the original Story, Alucard was looking out for a Man like Van Helsing who could put an End to his Life, and he tought Anderson vould be that Man, hut Anderson was like him, someone consumed by his Devotion. After he transformed into a 'Monster of God' Alucard got realy, realy pissed, cause he saw his own Tragedy repeating. Yeahhh, the Walter Twist was so weird. Oh and the 10 Years of Rape is more or less Accurate to the real Story of Vlad Tepes.

For some people, making sure others know lore, twist and turns ahead of time is better to them, as they will actively seek out leaks and theories about stuff they're excited for, even if it ends up ruining it for themselves. They can have a really hard time understanding why others don't like spoilers because sponging up every tidbit is part of their hype process. I know someone who is terrible for it and justifies it by claiming not knowing what you're in for just makes it confusing and that's worse than any spoiler could be. He also really hates when writers will intentionally not come up with answers to their story's ending. Apparently Donnie Darko broke him as a teenager as he couldn't get any easy answers.

Alexander Anderson went out a true Christian and Alucard is completely wrong here. God forgives all, but you have to forgive YOURSELF. There's only one requirement into Heaven, that's through Jesus Christ. God does not "allowed" starving children in Africa, WE DO. If God came down and took direct control, he'd be considered a tyrant (rightly so). God wants worshippers, not slaves. This is our opportunity to be righteous, we choose to take up that cause. To top it off, what is Alucard doing about the starving children? Alexander Anderson was actually quoting a Bible verse there in the end. It is Genesis 9: 6 if you want to look it up.
