Part of it is just the vocal processing- the audio is balanced to reflect Stolas as a character, meaning we lose all the subtle muffling and panning that our brains expect from his expressiveness and the fact that he's physically obstructed by his hands, the mic, etc. Its good work on the part of the audio and animation teams

I love the difference on who they act while singing! Bryce is so focused on the technical Musical theater side of sing, being sure he's hearing the track and having the proper posture to hit the notes. 2:19 - 2:32 is a master class from Bryce: light and breathy through the word "tender", then harsher and harder on consonants through the lower voicing, into a huge crescendo using his full voice to to bring it all home. Brandon is SO emotive I love that. He's fun to watch and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the notes on animation comes from seeing what he does behind the mic. I really like the difference we see in these two and how they commit to their roles when acting. Brandon is very animated with his body and hand movements to really get into the role while Bryce seems more focused on the mindset and communicating the tension and buildup with just his hands but still staying in the field of his head so he can project the role very strongly.
