He actually isn’t an Overlord, he’s the Goetic Prince of Hell which is a separate hierarchy. He is as strong or stronger than Alastor.

@@allensullera1565 Alastor is actually a pretty weak overlord according to Vivienne, also I am pretty sure demon royalty is probably stronger than even the strongest overlords. Alastor wouldn't last long against someone like stolas.

I might be wrong but I think Stolas might've been trapped in a loveless marriage. I'm not sure if it was arranged or the passion just died somewhere along the line but going by his song and interactions in the past with his wife, there wasn't much happiness. Even that portrait of them all had her looking annoyed, while Stolas and Octavia looked happy together. He probably did a lion share of the parenting because at that point being a dad was the only thing that made him feel good/happy/needed outside his duties. His "relationship" with Blitzo was probably the most recent instance where he felt free and uninhibited, now he's having a hard time reconciling this new need with his contemptuous spouse and reassuring his daughter that she'll always be important to him. Also anybody else notice that cat thing drag Millie off? As food or... something else?

I also suspected Stolis’s marriage might have been arranged which would explain the lack of compassion even at the start of the episode. Also I did see millie get dragged away at first viewing but a ton of others I didn’t get till later viewings (such as these reaction videos) like how moxxie was riding the monster that ate the robot clown. There’s a ton of blink and you miss it details in vivzi’s work

alot of the character have instagram's that give a bit more insight into what they are like. also fun fact. the little thing at the end that drags millie away is probably queef. poor innocent queef. valentino's pet. rest in peace queef. you will be missed after valentino got bored with you and shot you.

the first song was about the fact that even if octavia's father was gone and the world was crashing down around her that. her father stolas will always be able to be there for her even if they are not together. Also it was to tell her that she would make it threw any hardships. This also kinda told me that stolas was never going to abandon octavia while he was alive no matter the situation. The song spoke to me and it was so very beautiful I really wish that they had a full version of it

I think what people miss is Stolas's wedding was arranged. They never loved each other. The wife doesn't even seem to care Stolas sleeps around. ( Most likely she has side ass too.) What set her off was that Stolas A) banged an Imp. A creature she clearly views as lower or servant class. And B) Stolas had the lowly imp in the bed she sleeps in. Notice he apologizes, not for the sex, but for not having time to go to a motel? To which she accuses him of a ring like a plebian. At no point does she call him a pig, or his 'betrayl' she calls him out for acting like an embarrassment.

I love the opening song. The actor has such range and emotionally tipped towards pulling all the right strings in my heart. I can't help but to rewatching and listen to this over and over again. The father assuring that even when he's dead and gone that his daughter will always be okay. Very moving and with the colors, the simple arrangement on the music, and this lullaby would be on repeat in my kids room, lol. Stolas is such a great character from only 2 episodes we've seen.

The difference is Disney Movies are safe and completely predictable. Helluva Boss isn't, and you can also see actual love going into the animation. Vivenne Madraeno may even be a better music and song writer in the long run for all we know. A crowd-funded show and its budget made with love is something totally different.
