I mean it's all in Loo Loo Land. Octavia was torn up and Stella was justifiably furious. Yet there didn't seem to be any repercussions until this episode. As both Ozzie and Fizzaroli said Stolas basically walked out on what once was at least a somewhat functional home and traded it all in. Mind you knowing Blitz was only after that book for its magic.

@@XxStrugglerxX It's a bit of a grey area. They expect that behavior of I.M.P because of the location. But where Stolas is concerned the expectations are set slightly differently. Kind of like Charlie and Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel. Despite not thinking much of the concept of the Happy Hotel he still ended up supporting it. Loo Loo Land set up that Stolas did take the time to comfort Octavia. However, it didn't stop Stolas from bringing Blitz on a trip that was meant for himself and Octavia. Which is revealed at the end with how easily Stolas wards off that one Imp by turning it to stone.

@@darkshadowstorm7056 however we can recognize that characters don't need to be perfect. No matter their enviroment they're written into. Stolas was, is, unhappy with his marriage- which was most likely arranged and divorce probably frowned upon, and while he loves his daughter I don't blame him for taking any excuse he could to spend some time with Blitz. Also- like, theres nothing wrong with feeling empathy for a character that has done wrong, I'd be worried if people didn't. I mean, sure its fiction, hes an owl demon- but the characters we write are inherently human. Their behaviours reflect our own- we just happen to get more context from characters than we do real people.

@@asteri8299 Yes, it’s heavily implied that Stolas’ marriage to Stella was arranged, as most royal marriages tend to be portrayed, so it would make sense that he was so starved of love that he’d have an affair. Or he even might have been in the closet for all we know or realised he was gay when he met Blitzo. Hopefully we’ll get some flashbacks in episode 8 showing how they met.

As much as I would have loved Stolas sticking up for Blitzo, he can't realistically do anything to Asmodeus in his own circle of Hell. Stolas is a lesser prince so he isn't as strong as Asmodeus.

I think blitz might also feel bad that stolas marriage is broke because of him.messing up his family. Blitz stated he doesn't mind the hook up it probably the family drama that hurts him. Stolas however is based on demonology, particularily Stolas from Judaic mythology. He appears in various texts, but probably the most notable is the lesser key of solomon. A LOT of what we see today in media are based on Dante's poems more than any actual religious text- be it "holy" or "unholy"- though Dante's poems have changed mythology around the bible and specifically what constitutes as a sin over the years since it was first published.

Stolas is an aristocrat from important family basically. Asmodeus is one of the princes that rule hell who are subservient only to Lucifer. Got the vibe Asmodeus and stolas knew each other given his reaction to realizing Asmodeus was there. That was blitzo and his twin sister with their mom who was going to be another sister but they changed it hence why some are confused. Also apparently blitz and Fizzaroli grew up together and blitz didn't always have that white mark over half his face so very interested to find out what happened there.

yeah looking at the photos and how fizz and blitz interact they were childhood friends than boyfriends than they had a falling out, probably due to fizz selling himself to mamon and modifying his body with cybernetics to become more than an imp and to become higher ranked, while blitz had much to much pride to do something like that and prolly rejected fizz after, verosica also knew blitzs sis so verosica was prolly also a childhood friend and all four were prolly all entertainers since childhood, judging by the posters and their former professions, also fizz and ozzie seem much closer than coworkers, as ozzie clearly cares for fizz, making sure he isnt seriously hurt, after he gets bitch smacked by millie and fizz supports ozzie both figuratively and literally in the song. also ozzie is much more benevolent and nice than i think anyone expected, despite being the in second highest class of demons he clearly doesnt look down on imps and despite embodying lust he also doesnt outright deny m&ms pure love, he even gives moxxie a chance to spice up his song instead of ya know killing him or kicking him out, and gives him the time and chance to finish his song before kicking him out, also even at the end all he does is kick them out he doesnt even retaliate for them assaulting fizz or messing up the vibe, asmodeus/ozzie despite being the demon of lust actually has quite a lot of love and care, both for his employees such as fizz and also for random imps like moxxie.

I feel like in this universe there isn’t really a place meant for suffering. Hell in itself is pretty much a heaven for sinners. There are drug shops, strip clubs and a lot of ways that people who do things that are considered “sinful” can enjoy themselves and find eternal happiness. Plenty of glitz and glamor, but mostly just for those at the top of the hierarchy, while everything else is run down and falling apart. Palatial mansions for some, but garbage filled streets and slums for most everyone else, with drugs, sex work, and organized violence being dominant sources of employment available, because there's always a demand. There's a loose semblance of law and order, but it's focused entirely around maintaining the stratification of the elites from everyone else. And everyone is too selfish and greedy and bought into the mindset of "get yours and screw over your neighbor before he screws you over" to ever consider working together to make thing better. No sense of community. No cooperation or mutual aid. Just the people being stepped on clawing at each other with the goal of somehow one day being in the position of doing the stepping. TLDR: Hell is Capitalism. Thank you for coming to my Marxist rant.

I think there is a downside. Sinners can indeed indulge in whatever vices they want with "no limits." But there is a problem. They are all confined to the Pride Ring. Meaning that all the damned human souls are stuck in one place, and they are also first on the chopping block when the Exorcists come down every year. So year, they have all the freedom they want, but are likely the most at risk to get clapped by a more powerful demon, or worse, an Overlord who feels like abusing them.

Like I didn't realize it until rewatch. I mean i really relate to Stollas. When you are immature and single and you want to sad. But then when you have real first love affair... and you've realized you've been a terrible person. I mean he was kinda shitty to Blitz, who might be paranoid, but has a right to his feelings. So you go from wanting to feel sad and actually feeling sad. The reason why his love isn't working out is because he's not putting his heart into it. He's acting like he's in love, but not really being thoughtfull or selfless or open. And thatwas the real key. And even though Blitz is a little irrational and paranoid, Stollas hurt people, and never took responsbility for that. Like the hellanovela love he felt for Blitz wasn't real, but it could be real if he;s willing to get hurt and to help Blitz through his problems.

I really want to see them find love and happiness with each other. They deserve to feel loved and appreciated. Blitz is truly a broken individual and Stolas, despite not understanding or knowing entirely what is going on with Blitz, gives him space. I absolutely feel bad for Stolas though, he is very sweet, caring and also nice to Blitz, but Blitz keeps pushing him away with rude words and cold actions. I hope they will talk about their feelings for each other and will be able to clarify things in part 2 of the finale.

To answer how someone so loving can be in hell, it's important to note only the Sinner class demons are of human origin. Everyone else, including Stolas, was born in Hell. But yeah, having demons with some redeemable traits about them can help with writing conflict.

I like the fact that Ozzie and Fizzarolli ( ship name FizzarOZZIE to me) we’re totally cool with Moxxie singing, they just didn’t want him killing the LUST vibe, because he was singing super lovey-dovey. They even gave him the opportunity to change it up. A little concerned that Ozzie’s only allows “couples”. The bouncer didn’t even ask him if they were a “throuple” or anything.

To some who don't know (I'm putting it out there since I didn't see it in the comments so far), the person who voices Asmodeus is James Monroe Iglehart. Plays Genie in Aladdin on Broadway (also voices Vortex, the hell hound Loona liked). - The song got me hooked and I keep rewatching it just for the song xD - Moxie and Millie are definitely relationship goals - The ending got me sniffling (basically crying but we'll keep that to ourselves)

This episode was such a fast feels ride and has specific details in the background. I don't know if you saw before Blitz sits on the couch in the end, his face is crossed out of the pictures on the wall. Its such a sad sight =( I think whatever occurred with his family, left a whole in his heart he doesn't know how to fill and he talks tough to hide that. Also, its sad but I think Stolas needed to hear Blitz say how he saw the two of them. I think Stolas cares in his own way but needed to understand how his actions impact others. I ship it and want Stolaz to work out. I think this is the push they both needed to start changing.

I identify a lot with the blitz and that photo of his sister and his mother destroyed me I started to cry a little, just how they are handling what it is like to want to have the love of others, fight to achieve it but ruin it with your own barriers and mental insecurities , the fear of relationships and the pain they can bring. My ex, the truth is that I still love her, I left her because it hurt me not being able to be with her, it hurt me to think that at any moment someone skinnier or more handsome would enter her life and she would leave me. That thought, tormented me for months until I decided to cut everything with her and leaving her I continue to regret that decision, and now I think I would feel better if our relationship had ended in a more natural and less abrupt way in the way I did, so did she cried when we parted and not just a little. We really love each other but a fool like me was too scared to face myself. Well this is not the place for this, but this episode reminded me of that part of my life.

Most people are saying "poor Stolas" and that "Blitzø should treat him better" (not that I'm saying he shouldn't), and yet in 13:13, if you look at Stolas, you can see him trying to get away from the situation rather than help defend Blitzø, and at 13:26 he refuse to look at Blitzø by hiding behind the menu, and by the look of Blitzø, it hurt his feelings, and if you look at Stolas as they are leaving in 14:43 , you can also see him covering the side of his face with the universal sign of "don't look at me, I'm embarrassed"

My theory for the backstory is that Blitzo and his family were in the circus and he grew up with Fizz. Something happened which causes a rift between them. I'm assuming his family is dead just bc of robofizzs line 'does anybody love you?' and Blitzo responding with no.Showing not only does he believe no one loves him but no one is left too. Plus Blitzo probably doesn't like Robofizzs bc it's not actually Fizzarolli. Its the robot version of him hinting that he got famous or something and left Blitzo behind.
