My 2 favourite Sex Pistols songs are Pretty Vacant and Bodies both such raw real punk rock songs and reflected the times in mid-late 70's,but as you I've said Malcolm would always get the band to play in some real rough venues where he knew the band would get shit thrown at them especially in working class Midlands, Northern England, Wales and Scotland and Jon was right it was an achievement just to get an clap at the end of the gig.

God Save The Queen, Holiday In The Sun, I Wanna Be Me, Did You No Wrong, Problems, Submission are my favourite Pistols tracks, but i like all of the Never Mind album.

Its kinda funny that you mention those bands, 5 years ago, I loved the ramones and the pistols but now I truly enjoy those bands you mentioned, Particularly Joy Division, The Damned and Crass, Ive heard Birthday Party and Suicide and I definitely need to hear more of their stuff. I also think the Cure is better but I almost feel as if I'd be going towards a different topic than what the topic of the video is about.

Submission was something special and showed the pistols had something they could expand on and grow musically, but sadly not. Still, all involved where way ahead of the curve with the first album

Crass & The Damned are better than either of them. So are Suicide, Joy Division and The Birthday Party.
