This is actually a radio 1 interview for rock on radio programme, presented by John Tolbar in 1977. The tape which had the woman interviewing was basically for a foreign radio station. This is not exactly rare, because you can get this on the internet, but maybe it was rare, when the internet didn't exist !!!!

He was far from ordinary. He was fucked up in his mind but I agree that he’s no legend because he wasn’t. He was just a poster boy for the Sex Pistols only because he had the punk look they were going for, besides that he was nothing. Had he not of died young the way he did, nobody would even remember him. You know when you die young and tragically you become more famous than you ever would’ve had you lived into old age, and that’s a fact.

Because i think Sid laid off of drugs for a while because he spent alot of time with his best friend Johnny Lydon (Rotten) who was not a druggie and never did drugs.
