I’m watching this for a third time and I’m heart broken, again. He was such a wonderful horse. On his way to greatness under Elissa. Heart broken seems like a small grouping of letters. Because it’s visceral. Goodbye Ryebread. Race with the greatest horses throughout history. Fly!!!!

Watched this on my big screen. He got so close to some of those jumps I was scared. He is such a big horse compared to the thoroughbreds. But he really knows his ability. A point and shoot horse.

Who else just loves watching these when your on a long car ride ..? Non equestrians probably think it’s boring as hell but this is the only thing that keeps me from going insane on trips ❤️

Riot is my favorite. I think it’s because he has the nicest ears of the lot IMO. He’s pretty, but has sense. Recently got my own saddle so I pretend I’m the one on the course. I love it!!

I like how even when Riot Gear takes a big leap you can still keep your seat and confidence. Your a really big inspiration to me, as I’m a timid show jumper and love XC. 🥰😂👍

I had a horse called Parsons Blue son of the Parson an Irish Horse Thorough bred but big and powerful and awkward but splendid too reminds me of riot he had a lot more focus today and he has so much scope and heart .. he makes me laugh .. bravO you ride his so well heart in my mouth to watch him, once he really trusts himself and finds his full on focus he will be like Ian starks Murphy Himself... he trusts you and is such a noble man xxx

So do you go get the shoe that you lost?
@redfailhawk3 жыл бұрын
If I had to guess-someone nearby grabs it and hands it to the rider when they go back. Otherwise it might be a hazard for the next horse. But that’s only my guess.
@sallymowbray2973 жыл бұрын
I'd walk round later and pick it up. Especially if it still has a lot of wear left in it!!!

@@erblue5469 I haven't had a horse in nearly 20 years, but back when I did, a set of new shoes was around £70 approx every month to 6 weeks, so I couldn't afford to replace them more often than that!
@fleetskipper18103 жыл бұрын
The jump judge usually grabs it. The next time the volunteer who is assigned to pick up your scoresheet comes to your jump, usually in a golf cart, you tell him or her the number of the rider who lost the shoe and ask them to make sure that show management gets it so the rider can get it back. Sometimes, riders will have grooms or helpers who come by your fence to recover a lost shoe, bell boot, or whip before the golf cart arrives. I even had a rider who lost her number one time. That’s highly unusual. It happened at a lower level event because the rider hadn’t fastened it to her clothing properly.

You don’t have to but if possible could you mix it up a bit like do plain helmet cams (no voiceovers) and some rides with voiceovers bc I like both
