He's a big chap, almost 17hh, plus Oldenburgs are a pretty solid deep girthed breed, so most female riders look like a "pea on a drum"!

thrilling - thanks for posting. You are so brave as I lost my nerve years ago after a few incidents. Do horses of this level ever bolt or buck when going fast?

When going this fast horses can’t do any kind of strong buck, the most you’re going to get is like a little hop. And at this level most horses are so highly trained they’re not going to really bolt as you’re already pushing them for speed. If they’re running away uncontrollably they shouldn’t be going this level.
