The biggest thing I noticed it the attention you get from ordinary people who are not bikers when out on it, people look up and smile when they see it go past, and I get people coming up to me in car parks wanting to talk about the bike and the way it looks. Ordinary People detest the mopeds bombing around the streets, they distrust huge suoerbikes, but there is something about a modern classic design that makes them smile.

Thisss! God if I see you I will be head over toes about the bike. And I'll also praise for your prestine choice you made.

I have come back to bikes after a 40 year break, and for me this was the perfect bike to get me back onto 2 wheels again. Easy to ride, easy to control, agile through town, fun in the twisties, but still enough power to keep up with my mates for quick bomb up the motorway. Just like you say one of the best things is to cruise on a country road then open the throttle and feel the instant torque kick in along with the grunt sound from the exhaust.

I have a 2022 Street Scrambler and absolutely love it. I removed my catalytic converter and that made a tremendous difference with the amount of heat coming off the exhaust. Also gave me a bit more power on the low end as well as made the bike sound just a bit better. It's an easy mod and the removal of the catalytic converter cannot be detected by a visual inspection.

I'm looking at getting rid of the cat on my 2019, I ride a lot in London and there you do notice the heat from the exhaust. Who did you go to for the cat delete pipe?

I own a 2023 900 scrambler and even in our Aussie summers the heat from the exhaust is not a problem 😊

Had mine a year now and the exhaust is not a problem, In the winter I actually enjoyed the heat from the exhaust when sitting a traffic lights, In the summer all the time you are moving to don’t notice the heat from the pipes. The only time it became uncomfortable was on the hottest of days of the year when stuck in traffic in the city. [doing 20MPH for 100yards at a time between traffic lights] but even then it was the general heat from the engine itself rising up that made it uncomfortable. But I did find myself leaning the bike over to the right when stationary at the lights to get my leg off of the pipe.

Biggest selling classic bike today, yet I've never seen one or a Triumph bobber in my county, or in fact anywhere on my travels. I've seen them here on Yt and in the groups on Fb, but never, ever in the flesh.

Hi! I am interested in this bike. As an owner, what do you think about the 5-gear gearbox?? Is it fine?? Would be better with a 6-gear gearbox.?Do you feel you need a 6th gear when you are on the highway?? Thank you in advance
@FreedomRider-id6yv2 ай бұрын
@ I think it’s fine, based on my experience. Scrambler is not a sports bike, obviously, but has plenty of power to overtake on the freeway. The gears are spread out, so you aren’t shifting all the time, much more relaxing. The only time I use the 5th gear is 70+ MPH on the freeway and it will get you to 100 MPH, which I’ve only done once (not a fast boy bike). The fun of this bike is the torque, it really pulls nicely.

Love my 2022 for all the reasons you state. I don’t personally find a problem with the high level exhausts; yes they get warm, but not hot - must be my bandy legs 🤠

Yep, I test rode one of these, as a loaner, for a day & overnight while my new 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200xe was getting some warranty work done. I found the Scrambler 900 to be a very capable bike, and I rode it hard. It’s a bit small for me personally, but, to be honest, the 1200 is maybe slightly too big for me. Still and all, I appreciate all the great Triumph models there at my local dealership. I’m thinking my next bike will be the Triumph Tiger 900. You always have to keep your eye out for the next bike you fall in love with. Happy Trails!

Can’t beat owners reviews! Ace video I’m just in the process of selling our Tenere for one for the exact reasons mentioned when dad and I sat on one our legs sit on the silver heat shield, I was reading online that there’s some alternative shields for the cat section.

Thanks glad you enjoyed the video! I hope you love the Scrambler when you get it! If you find a heat shield that works well it would be great if you could drop us an email or a message on Facebook with which one you found! Cheers, all the best Alan

I just traded in my T120 for a brand new Scrambler 900 and I could not be happier with it! Goes in for its 600-mile service tomorrow. I love it for all the reasons you mention. And I don't find the tailpipe heat all that bad. Wonder if it's true that they've improved that quite a bit on the latest models... Cat moved to the back is probably why. Great channel. Subbed.

I've loved this bike ever since I saw the one Chris Pratt rode in Jurassic World lol, just an absolutely beautiful bike! i have the 2017 version of this bike .I wonder if the lower HP is the reason I have never found the muffeler hot on my leg even in very hot summer riding ..Now the fan comming on in town traffic is steamy for sure .. I got mine as a left over in 2018 and have 19k on the clock ..I have loved every minute .I wish the tank range was a little longer and I would like a little better suspension but the joy meter is at 10 most of the time and after a lifetime of owning bikes I am hard pressed to think of one I have enjoyed more ... All the best from New England ..yours Guy

Nice review, been playing with the idea of getting this bike for trips in Japan so I can tackle some rougher forestry roads. Nothing too extreme but usually gravel and tight…the 1200 would be better but nit sure I need the power and I prefer the lines if the 900. Hmmmm bikes lol😂 seems they don’t do the matte green anymore! The best colour I have seen 😢
@HelmetHead22 күн бұрын
Thanks 👍 It’s the same here with the green 😢 I think it was only in the green until 2021. Hopefully it will return in 2025 🤞. I’m hoping to visit Japan 🇯🇵 at some point any recommendations for places to visit on a bike?

@ yeah it is strange the new colour schemes just feel off, already thinking I need to paint it or buy used if I get one. Yeah man Japan is super fun on a bike, Kyushu is the zone I am in. Just started this channel to document it, feel free to take a look. Still new but will be showing some of the best roads and scenery I can find. Lived in Japan for 25 years and finally have the time to get out and ride it! Keep the vids coming, you got my sub!

@@HelmetHead oh I don’t doubt it’s yours, but why haven’t you taken them off yet? 😂 basically the first thing I did to my speed twin 👌🏻instantly a cleaner look, they’re just adhesive pads, pull them off, and scouring pad off the residue, it won’t touch the black anodised fork 💪🏻

@italogiardina81832 ай бұрын
Why do reviewers of luxury bikes use budget filming equipment? Maybe the viewers are into the specs and stories. Cheap and fast films are not good, but expensive and fast are good, but then the slow and cheap films can be good. So in this review the insta 360 is typical fast and cheap whereas the elevated country field footage was slow and cheap but good for it gave authentic movement relative to being a viewer from a distance that hand cameras fail by giving viewer motion sickness.

Why buy this if Tiger GT Pro can give you almost 100 hp?
@lukeoverthere13646 ай бұрын
It’s frustrating riding these days or just driving come to that. Speed limits everywhere mean you could have 200hp but only be able to use a fraction of it before losing your licence. These low hp, high torque bikes seem to have the best of both worlds, that pull from low speeds to let you overtake and the character and charm that the new line of retro bikes provides. There’s something for everyone nowadays.
