If deleting photos from iPad also deletes from iPhone or vice versa the let us see how to fix this issue.
This happens when you have used the same apple id in both of the devices and there is a setting which is enabled because of which the photos gets deleted in both of the devices when you delete from one of them.
1. For that one we will go to “Settings”.
2. Scroll down and select photos App.
3. Now we have different options here.
4. Enable iCloud photos will automatically upload photos and videos on iCloud so that you can view from any of the devices.
5. And there is another option “My Photo stream”. Enabling this option will make the photos available in another iOS device where you have used the same apple id.
6. Also if you delete it from one of the device it gets deleted from other too.
7. So, if you want to prevent photos from getting deleted from other device while deleting from other then disable “My Photo stream”.

This doesn’t work! My Upload to My Photo Stream is toggled off on both devices but it still doesn’t ‘separate them’. I should be able to delete on one without deleting on the other and that’s just not the case Please elaborate on the iCloud photos thing. Thank you 🙏🏻
