My xiphoid proces is almost touching my right lower rib. Guess this can be explained by me being in the left AIC pattern with the muscles pulling the ribcage in closer on the right side and expanded away from the xiphoid on the left. Maybe some structural changes if I've had it for a long time. Made it confusing for me to measure my ISA :)

Hi Zac, Could you please clarify few things ! 1. Relative position of Sacrum to illium at different levels of Hip Flexion. 2. Relative position of Sacrum to illium ( Both Side ) when we shift to Left/Right 3. As you said that when Left leg is forward at 20-30 degrees of Hip Flexion whe need to shift left to get ER on left, I didn't get this point, could you please clarify it 🙏 Thank You 🙏

Hey Sahil. 1. I would watch this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZiZiWWOqKhjn7s 2. It depends on the height of the shift. Earlier hip flexion is more ER/counternutation. Later is IR/nutation 3. ER is associated with posterior expansion. If I turn left, the pelvis moves backward. In order for the pelvis to move backward, the posterior aspect of it must expand. Hopefully that clarifies!

Can't expand posteiorly left, so you can't go overhead

Hey fam, as a wide isa, i mistakingly been squeezing a ball between my knees with hooklying, i really over did it. My problems got much worse. I might’ve added too much adductors to my stack. When i stack before a squat etc i feel pain in my adductors and they clench hard. Is there a way i can train myself out of this? Do i do stuff that closes down the ipa instead?
