So starting at 32.45 those jiggers are german solid silver (835 parts per 1000, germany did a range of purities usually 800 grade), the two marks before the 835 are the crescent and crown - the german proof marks that it is silver. They were made by Wilhelm - Schwäbisch Gmünd. The art noveau rectangular dish is Gorham. The large jug with the W mark is by Woodside, sterling company New York. The ladle is not british and is also by Gorham. I don't know the Gorham dates its all based off the shape of the mark etc (guides on the internet) but I have never seen a Gorham pattern number that low before. I am guessing 1880s for the ladle whilst the others silver pieces are 1900-1920 I guess. All premium collectors items!

The teapot, milk jug and coffee pot/hot water jug (everyone prefers to sell them as coffee pots) are International Silver company of course looks like you have the sugar bowl at the bottom of the box on the right for the full set! Is it me or a lot of these items don't look like they have been really used, the internal gilding is still good on these items. Not commenting on if it is ivory. I don't know if the rules are the same in the USA as the UK but in the UK you can get licenses to sell an item containing ivory if it less than %15 of the item if sold at an auction house (sellers are very keen to knock off finials and insulator rings to make a sale). At 1.02 also Gorham, At 1.02.50 the vase is by scharling &co (I think rare to see one with a handle), at 1.03 that is Webster company. To finish off the last time I saw someone get a bit of small lalique at a cheap price the reseller just behind who missed out just started screaming...

Bear: yes that's the "England's Rose" bear. The Rogers SP piece I think is a cocktail fork. That will make it easier to price and sell given the monogram on it. You might hold that off to the side until you get more "cocktail" related stuff and sell as a lot. The single fork by itself... $5 on a good day. The Watrous piece, I'm not sure what kind of spoon that would be with such a long handle (a punch ladle for tea totalers??) but you could kinda sell it as a muddling spoon with the cocktail stuff, although a muddling spoon has a straight-down bottom rather than a bent-up bowl like that one has. The cup with the Hebrew inscriptions is a kiddush cup. The little pieces that look similar (with the MOP handles) are all cheese servers, so those could go together as a set if they are similar enough to be called a "near matching" set. Otherwise, as a "mixed set." Those low standing, close to the table silver bowls are "center bowls." Basically, they would be the centerpiece on the table, maybe with fruit in it, Or display off the table with potpourri. If the host had an extremely long table, it would look good to use BOTH of those bowls evenly spaced apart down the table. (In that case, the lower bowl goes at the end nearest the host so that they can easily see everybody down the sides of the table. It keeps the conversations flowing.)

What an amazing selection! The mirrors will go with the Swarovski crystals, they often come with them to stand underneath. My Nan had some of those silver pieces back in the day - soooo wish I knew what happened to them! The Thousand Eyes bowl is stunning!!

Also those Chanel bottom clip on earrings are very valuable for example the first ones was like in a picture of Lady Diana's , they are more sought after for collections, also original Juicy Couture from the boutique can hold more value than what after the company was sold out, the experts saying this old J.C will be the new generation of valuable vintage❤hand beaded pouches are 70 or 80'

That ladle that you thought was silver plated at around 58 minutes was likely a punch bowl scoop. It hangs off the inside of the punch bowl

The Baccarat crystal - depending on the figure and age - could go anywhere from around $25 for one that is small and shows some scratches on the bottom, to up around $200 for a medium sized piece. You can add quite a bit more for the two that are "NWT" with the boxes. 40-50%. You should research the price by figure type. Bunnies are where the money is. Especially the black bunnies. The Erte collector plate is like most collectible plates. Might not be worth the cost of shipping. //The gold plated piece (likely 22 kt gold) is a Charger, so that would be on the table first before the meal began, and would stay down as sort of an accent to the dinner plates. Of course the monogram is going to take away some value as does not having an entire set of them. The brand you're seeing on the bottom is likely the retailer. Even though it looks like a Lenox custom made to me, I don't know of Lenox ever using an impressed mark. Worth doing some research on. I'm guessing around $35-50 to a collector, but that's going to have a long tail. The piece you pulled out of the box is the Harlequin. The LV bag I'm not 100% sure it's authentic because the pattern doesn't match on the side seams. If it's made in France, every seam should match up so that no design element is cut off: they would mate perfectly with the same element on the other piece. That wasn't always true for the American made pieces manufactured by French leather goods. Check the tag inside to see where it was made, and then have it authenticated from there.

I like the look of that sterling punch ladle with the very curved handle! Made for a smaller/lower bowl than one of those great big honker bowls. Very nice, indeed! The shell bowl is silverplate from William Rogers. No suggestions for the use on that one. It's likely contemporary to the last 50 years. It's a showoff piece: "See how much big pretty silver I have!" Polished within an inch of its life, of course. The black Lalique piece on a good day is somewhere between 1500 and 2000. The clear bowl with the dots I've seen many times before so it's not as hen's tooth rare as the black but still... close to a grand. Depending on the condition of the bottom. The mirror pieces: display stands for the smaller crystal pieces. Thankx for sharing! That was a lot of fun to watch!!

Oh and the big bowl at 37.18 is whitings as well (1921 I think from the U mark orientation to the sterling mark) - to come to prices, it is mostly 1900-1920 premium name brand silver in good condition and you have some real wild cards in there as well that would really appeal to collectors and people who want statement pieces I guess you could get to beyond 10-15k on the silver alone

Moving onto the other boxes... at 49.00 I think you are right on the age for the filigree chair, and its one of the more unusual shapes (for a dolls house?)so again a premium if it is silver. The moose spoon is swedish (it has the 3 crowns swedish proof mark) and they a sami spoon style set - the T8 mark indicates it was made in 1969 - the S in the hexagon indicates it is at least 800 grade but most likely 830 - the other marks indicate maker and town mark likely a premium tourist item when they went to see the Northern lights. People collect them still. The jewish cups are Kiddush cups, they can be unmarked silver (as a personal sale/gift rather than a commercial one which would require official marks) but it does look like silver plate. At 54.00 that is a towle cake slice. I think for the mother of pearl cake slice it will only be the collar (ferrule) that is sterling otherwise the blade will be marked, it is a common fudge to make something look nicer than it is (it is still nice with the premium handle). At 54.30 (It really is a great learning exercise in american silver) - it is a Whiting sterling dish made in 1917 (reverse C mark). Dish at 55.00 is R. Wallace and Sons (Wallace), The next dish at 55.40 is Meriden Brittania Co. I don't want to get your hopes up but they are both known for museum pieces and it could be up there as you say. I think the odd shaped spoon at 58.00 is J.B & S.M Knowles (not got a clear look), has some nice unusual engraving, definitely a spoon for the collectors. I don't know what that sort of spoon is for. On to the next box...

Wow those vintage hand bags are old and valuable some from France, other from west Germany's design I have few from my great grandma and they go from the thousands to the hundreds depending on their conditions, material and age

"La Reine des" translates from the French as "The Queen of..." The bag with the beadwork looks quite old. Mid-Century. The Lenox set, I've never heard it called THE Autumn. Back in the day it was just called "Autumn." Check the country of manufacture on those. if they are US made they are worth more than if they were made in Europe because you can advertise them as "American Lenox," which is more popular to collectors than the other stuff. That particular shape of china is called the "Presidential" shape because it's the same shape of flat to the table plates and footed cups that was used with the White House china, going all the way back to the Woodrow Wilson administration. The shape is no longer made except by special order or for any special promotional pieces from Lenox."Different Singer/Different song," but I would suggest selling the china set by the piece (or numbers of a piece) rather than the entire set. "Grandma's Good China" is already fairly long-tail but an entire set like that could take years to sell. And if doing numbers of a set (you know this part!) always sell either single pieces, or in multiples of 2. Nobody wants 5 plates because they might have only needed four, or they want 6. If you have an odd number, set up selling the multiple sets of x2 pieces, and then a final listing for the 1 odd piece.
@bonniepiehler693Ай бұрын
I think you can sell ivory if it is over 100 years old. If that piece is antique, then you can sell it.

Rusty..that Jewish items:54...could be from WWII Europe..saved or stolen..Im from Europe, and I recognize craftsmanship pre-war France..and a lot of Jewish elements from Vichy period?..I dont know who sold you these, but this goblet with David star is used in some rituals, baptism or Jewish weddings, not sure ...these could be American spoils of war also- the historical value of these silvers can be 10X higher. Check the historical value.
