Geez, just realised this has only gotten more relevant over time.

Yep, because humans have short memories and we've evolved to think first of ourselves, secondly for our "tribe", and only after that do most of us consider other people. We have to keep learning the same lessons over and over before they finally start to sink in. We can change but it takes time, sometimes more than just one lifetime.

@@scostat Like the song says, "gotta keep your faith until the love comes". If everyone kept their faith and spread it on to the kids, with nobody losing it, then even if you have to wait until the people causing the issues die of old age, and even if not in our generation, it would end. So try to keep some faith my friend because every person counts, the butterfly effect is real

It never will change. The people in charge like division, it keeps the little people occupied while they continue getting rich. That's what's destoying the world. The Love of money, the abuse of power by the elite who deceive and hurt the masses just in order to greedily grasp more money in their sweaty stubby hands. And for what? They will die too. They can't take all this money with them. But still, you know they just can't change. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

This songs message is even more relevant today with all the hate and war. No matter what colour a person's skin is we are all human beings that breathe the same air, bleed the same colour of blood and live in the same world. Every single person has a right to live and Nobody has the right to take anybodies life. People need to start spreading more love instead of hate. Let there be more peace in this world 🌎 This is the one thing that I wish for everyone. 💛💛

This is the part you mentioned, one of the best parts of the song But if you only have love for your own race Then you only leave space to discriminate And to discriminate only generates hate And when you hate then you're bound to get irate, Another of my favorite lines in the song is at the end where they say "We only have one world" and the only thing I would add to that is and we all share it together, we also have only one chance to live the life we are blessed with and too often we waste it on hate and division rather than making the most of what so precious little time we have coming together and appreciating our differences instead of discriminating each other because of them.
