Ive been shooting gold tip hunters with 340 spine. You can get 100 grain inserts and additional 50 grain steel weight. My set up is 150 grain insert with 200 grain single bevel. Arrow weight around 670. Straightness tolerance is great. Arrow is cheaper but the only one ive lost is one I robin hooded. Light gpi so you can get bit of FOC.

Easton Legacy carbon, cap wrap four inch feathers fly great out of all my bows, also used Gold tip traditional for years , great arrow, also Easton 6.5’s cheapest out there that are good arrows. The Easton Legacy were easier to tune .

I got some carbon legacies in a deal but they were 600 spine and too weak for my setup. Been thinking on a dozen in 400 to try. Thanks for the comment!

I’ve been using the gold tip warrior arrows for a while now and I love them, run an ethics system up front and they are bullet proof, never had one so durable

Gold Tip traditional hunters. They look like wood and there pretty indestructible. I’ve been shooting them for 20 years. I actually shoot the Blems. Blemished but it’s just the coating not the integrity of the arrow. I’ve put them through the plastic leg of my shooter buck many times and never had one break. Shot judo points umpteen times. They last period. Probably shot 35-40 deer with them. Hope this helps

I have 2 dozen tuned up for my Satori. I love the blemished Gold tips also!

@@hooversoutdoors I am shooting a 43 pound black widow with gold tip traditional 400s and 275 grain up front. 5” or 51/2”shields they fly flawlessly. Of course I bare shaft tuned them. If you don’t want that much wait out front you can shoot 500s and reduce your point weight.

@johnk5193 I run 225 up front total but I have a 29 1/2 inch draw I usually have to run 400s. I'll play around with it though thanks

AliExpress arrows right? How durable, consistent and is overall quality?
@theephemeralglade1935 Жыл бұрын
@@PatJuhNL I am a pretty new archer, so I am probably not able to know if they are any good. I have become pretty accurate at 30 yards, if that counts for anything, and the differences between shots are because of me not concentrating, or getting tired, or maybe just being a ham-fisted dumbass, lol. I have shot about 3,000 times now, and the arrows are just fine. Sorry. But, having twelve of them means that I can stand there for a while adjusting each shot a little bit. The vanes are pretty small, and if anything, they may not be stabilizing the arrow enough at that distance. But they are tough!
@PatJuhNL Жыл бұрын
@@theephemeralglade1935 And the build quality? I'm looking into getting a few burner arrows whilst learning and becoming more accurate. I have a Skylon Frontier set but already lost two arrows due to defects (one robin hooded and one broke on impact during a 3d run)... I don't want to spend €10 a piece on burner arrows :)
@theephemeralglade1935 Жыл бұрын
@@PatJuhNL I think that they are built very well. Five of my shots hit wood, and the arrows were unaffected. Accmos installs a little collar on the shaft, right behind the point, which keeps them from exploding if you hit something hard. I just ordered twelve 500 spine arrows from them off of Ebay for $50. I think that they are great arrows as I have had zero failures or problems with them. I haven't shot the 500s yet, but I am confident they will be just as good.

i love my easton carbon legacy. i shoot them out of my satori, striker classic longbow, and a mahaska ASL longbow. also i shoot the Victory VF TKO sport V6 from lancaster archery they are $8.75 a shaft. its such a nice arrow. shoots lights out in all 3 of my bows. highly recommend both of those arrows. the victory is super customizeable for FOC too.
