Help me repair my air rifle safety switch - Please subscribe!

Help me repair my air rifle safety switch. I need your help please. I've been working on fixing up mu old childhood airgun but came to the realization that the safety switch is not working. I don't know where to start to try and repair it myself. Please comment with any suggestions. Thanks!
