I am 3 weeks into covid pneumonia, sans covid at this point. Last night I fell asleep in the prone position. I got up this morning and finally started coughing this crap out. Granted it was mixed with blood, which freaked me out, but my doctor said it's normal with pneumonia. Been proning off and on all day today and more keeps coming up into my esophagus and out. My o2 levels are finally back up to 94-96. Ther have been a couple peeks at 97, so let's pray I'm moving in the right direction. UPDATE: Thanks for all the love and prayers everyone. It's been a few months, but wanted to say I am better. I had some preexisting anxiety and PTSD issues that have flared up since May and June, but am much better. I have been given the all clear to get back to my strongman competing and general fitness. Thanks again everyone and God bless.

Coughing felt like my lungs would explode. I used to sleep this way, covered with a blanket, fever burning me up at night. I couldn't take anything because of my pregnancy and I didn't want to be admitted. I stayed home and drank lots of water, herbal teas and ate small portions of fruit at a time. I rushed to bathroom still hurting and heavy breathing, I threw up and cloudy thick big blob of mucus started to come out. I am so glad you benefited from this video... It was intended to help humanity. I worked in the ICU during the peak of COVID... nothing was working...people were dying because of secretions in lungs. this was the only logical approach...as the largest part of the lung is the lower part and the back. laying on your back is the worst thing...it drowns the largest part of the lung...with glue like sputum, then it becomes concrete and the end...ventilators.... read all the comments.. all say the same... another risk factor is vitamin D deficiency... @@sachin1sharma How dare you! LORD have mercy on you! I'll have you know that I made it through Covid, got my taste and smell back, and its very much because of JESUS. If you had just one ounce of intelligence you could prove to yourself that GOD IS REAL. You know.....you know deep down that JESUS is the answer. I feel sorry for you. It has to be very lonely walking around all day mocking the creator of ALL THINGS. What are you gonna do when you see JESUS crack the sky and every single time you have mocked HIM comes back to mind? Thank you so much for your bravery and wisdom! I was diagnosed with covid September 11th 2021. At first it felt like I threw out my back when I woke up. But as the day progressed I got worse and worse. By the next day the skin on my chest and back, where my lungs are, hurt so bad to the touch. Just having my t-shirt touching me caused me great pain. I was drinking ginger tea, breath easy tea and echinacea tea with local honey. Something I stopped doing years ago. But I wasn't laying on my stomach or proning. But here is the crazy part. Day 4 I felt like I was being suffocated. No matter how hard I tried to breath in I couldn't. Talk about the most scared I have ever been. I started to panic. I crawled to my room and no lie, stayed in the proning position for I don't know how long. Exactly as you showed it. All I could muster out to my wife was, "pray". After quite some time I proceeded to cough more violently than I ever had before. And relief. It wasn't instant but I felt relieved and could breathe again. I continued to get into the position as much as I could. On setpember 20th I tested negative for covid. I am still drinking those teas with honey. I am 32 years old and thought I was healthy and fit. I thought covid can't get me, I'm too strong, I'm too healthy. Boy was I wrong. Lessons learned for sure. Stay strong people, pray, fast, and cherish your loved ones. You never know when it's your time. God bless.

Something I did not mention was I had been a smoker for about 15 years prior to getting covid. After I took the test and realized I was positive, I quit cold turkey. It's been about four months now. I am a multiple surgery patient before covid19. During a surgery I had in 2008 both my lungs were punctured. After emergency surgery. I now had to fight for my life from ammonia. The build up of flem in my lung was so bad I was yelled at by the surgeon to cough as hard as I could to get it up. It was a military hospital and I was OK with getting yelled, thats what it took to get me to cough through my pain. It was horrible but a valuable lesson. 3 months ago I contracted covid19...I knew what to do. For 2 weeks I fought to keep my lungs clean, walked as I could to force all that stuff up. I did not just lie in bed I moved as I could, drank water, and ate even though I vomiting it up, and kept my lungs clean...it was constant. If you get covid19 you need to ready to fight. At 61 with multiple medical issues plus cancer, I am glad to back working in my yard building my strength up for the next fight! God bless...

To greatly reduce inflammation. As far as the prone exercises, ( which STRANGELY i started instinctively doing some nights before i checked myself in) Im wondering, how many minutes per session or perhaps a hour or two tops? Then do multiple times throughout the day? Because 8 hours in one sitting is a bit tedious and far fetched!

Thank God for this! I contracted CV-19 @ the end of October 2020, I spent 2 months fighting for my life at home. There was no rooms to be had at any nearby hospital. The fluid in my lungs was horrible and I could breathe. My blood oxygen level hit a low of 60-65% a few times, in the 70% range several times. I took breathing treatments with a 25 year old nebulizer every 4 hours, vitamins, you name it. I didn't see this video until somewhere around week 6-7 and was bearly alive. 3 days into this procedure I coughed so violently draining the fluid out of my lungs, I broke a rib in my right side. I took a back brace and bound it up tight and had to rest for 2 days before starting this procedure again. At the end of 5 days total, I had drained at least 3 pounds of this sticky glue like fluid out of my lungs and could breathe at least 50% better. THIS WORKS! IT SAVED MY LIFE!! THANK YOU DOC!!!!

I ve been sick for 7 days w bad coughing but yesterday for the first time I was able to take the gunk out !!!!!!!! How Incredible this position is !!!! I had no idea till I saw this video . Im a professional flutist and singer , know the best technique for breathing but it did not help me while i was sick ……….. but this proning position is game changer!

I had a pretty bad Covid infection two months and a half ago. I spent a night in the emergency room at the hospital and then a nightmare in home for several weeks. In the hardest moment with my lungs your video helped me a lot. I did this exercise many times, for long time. I am sending you all my gratitude and love. I can't see this video without tears in my eyes now... It was a really horrible moment without knowing what to do and this video finally gave me something that worked. I'm almost completely recovered now, thanks God. Thanks again for your generosity. Wish you all the best from my heart! O.

This man is very correct about this position to get in to clear your lung when I was a child I had pneumonia twice when in the hospital the nurses would perform these exercises to rid my lungs of mucus that position at the start of the video was one of the positions and the nurse would cup her hand and lightly strike my back over the lungs it worked very well.

Eliza, my sister was just told she has Covid pneumonia. Shes in ICU. First, they said to stay overnight, today, they said she needs a few more days. I'm sure they are helping her but proning is probably not being done. Shes in another state and her husband can't see her because of Covid. I'm glad things worked out for you but I feel my hands are tied. Its a helpless feeling but...its interesting that I received this video now, 8 months later. That is a hopeful sign...

@@TheVirtualNephrologist its funny. I went to the hospital and told doctors/nurses about the technique you are showing online and everyone I told about it, looked at me as if I was crazy or didnt know what I was talking about. I know I had pneumonia but because I used your technique to help me through it, by the time doctor's seen me they didnt believe that I could have got better without antibiotics. So its as if they didnt believe me that I was suffering from pneumonia because in their mind I should have been much worse (but I used your technique to get better) so they almost didnt prescribe me antibiotics. Its as if western medicine no longer believes you can get better from anything unless prescribed the drug.
