Had an employer I worked for one time we came upon a boiler that was plugged up like that he looked at me and said this boiler needs an enema 😳 of course I didn't know what to think at the moment then we proceeded a 3 hr repair and maintenance. Great job and video 👍🤟

Wow (40.50) is telling of the complete lack of maintenance of the boiler! Maybe it’s time for a new boiler and some new wet returns for both sides. I’m just a dumb homeowner with a question? Why is the wet return so low? Does it have to be a certain distance from the end of the steam main to balance the steam pressure (1/2 pound at end of main) to prevent the steam from entering the wet return from the boiler? Is there any calculations that you need to determine how much weight of water is required to push the water back into the boiler?

Hey Mikey Pipes. Its me D Reed lol. Hey got a question for you. I just installed a NCB-240-130H in my house. I know i know. Im praying if i maintain it well ill be good. Im an electrician by the way. But my install came out mint i might say. But i have a question. I used 1738 Centrotherm rated for 230 degrees. Should i have dip switch 8 on? I know I’m good with my venting. Im asking because do you think it would benefit the unit to leave it off give me more longevity? Please let me know what you think. Love your videos by the way. Mikey, It's You! Please make a channel in your warehouse, and a white board.... and educate those of us who are not boiler people HOW the steam works... what the hell is a wet return? Are there dry returns? As dry cleaning is not really dry, similarly; we need some explanation on heating systems. Of course visual aids would be cool. Harvard Loop better than a Yale PHd ? Drop header does what ? You do a very good job explaining for those in the field, but the other half of us are in "say what" mode. Please demonstrate Steam Vs Forced hot water, and how they work. This will make your customers an educated consumer. Less dumbass misunderstanding of techno-garble. "Dammit, Mikey... I'm a locksmith, not a boilerman".
