WONDERFUL! Our beautiful ‘ol gal just turned 14! She got a THUMBS UP 👍 check-up at her vet, just days ago!! She, too, can’t reach her bowl ! We have just put her food dish for now in a crate that had things on the bottom and put a reusable grocery bag down and set her bowl on top of it, for right now. It is actually the perfect height for her so I’m not even sure we would change that! Our girl, Dot, has not even been able to stand up on her legs and looks like a Fawn on ice, Will merely trying to walk in the kitchen or our living room! We went to the Menards store and got two rooms size REASONABLE rugs. She can walk on a rug, but not on hardwood or linoleum! I think they were less than 40 bucks each. We Purchase these rugs for her to be able to physically walk inside the house. She cannot go outside very easily because we have four and five steps at the back door in the front door. So, these are HER rugs! Yup! She has already potted on BOTH RUGS! We have many Potty Pads down in the hallway, where she now usually pottys. We do not expect our girl Dot, to try to go outside for her business. We’re just very thankful she can go outside when we are giving her a short walk, or taking her to her warm water therapy classes to strengthen her legs! I love ❤️ this RAISED BOWL Tutorial! Very timely!

Nan, we will be praying for Y'all and your Beloved furbaby, we had 13 & one passed of natural causes (old age) the other from kidney failure, our hearts are shreaded, God is embracing us. God Bless All!

Hi, did you use a joiner? How did glue it up for wider panel without gaps?

No joiner, just sanding and a couple times with a hand plane. Since the boards were short when gluing, they were straight enough.
