I’m sad the major companies featuring Star Trek items didn’t wish to talk with you. Their loss! With the quality you maintain, I’m thinking they may even change their mind. keep up the great work!!

Subscribe to the guy. He’s brilliant! Been subscribed for a while. Your videos are fascinating Jim. Keep it up 👍🏻

When I see the stat of multiple views by non-subscribers at over 1,000,000, this means you have an audience of more than one million people who find value in your videos. Five years ago, the length of Kirk's original mission, did you ever envision or even dream your thoughts as a fan and historian of Star Trek would be heard and appreciated by more than 1 million people? I am glad to have been along for the ride since the early days! Keep up the great work!

As one Trekker from another, I heard your distress call, and I'm answering it with a subscription. Hard to believe you have that many, since your content absolutely can appeal to ALL Trekkers and Trekies, if they'd only give your channel a chance. Looking forward to you breaking the 20,000 mark this week, and then 50,000, then 100,000....🖖

I hope you get a lot of subscribers! I've been watching your videos since year earliest videos, and that old channel name. You have a fun and educational channel where I'm not surprised you are getting the millions of views. You might also see if you can collab with others like Trekyards or some such channel as you might pick up more viewers that didn't know you were out here.

Hi there! Thank you for the kind words. When I first sat down and created a KZbin account during the pandemic, I never dreamed that just a few years later my life would change so dramatically. For me, the "joy of the ride" isn't trying to make money on YT. The joy is a result of seeing comments from viewers like you that have been with me since the very early days - when I was making videos on a variety of subjects that I figured only I really liked. Viewers guided me into sharing the videos and subjects that I never thought I would have the opportunity to relive some of the best moments of my life. And when someone mentions being with me from the beginning; it makes me feel so humble that folks actually enjoy the conversation as much as I do. No matter what happens in the future, you folks have made an old guy feel relevent again for the first time in years. Thank you.

@@TREK-WORLD You're so welcome, and I know what you mean. I'm doing more contract art now, but I got such a warm fuzzy feeling when I would post my comics, including a Star Trek comic, and people would comment or be inspired. There is certainly a wonderful reward to that.

I hope your subscriber counts skyrocket. I've been subscribed for awhile now (probably before the name change). My mom is a Trek fan too, and after showing her some of your videos she decided to subscribe too. I guess youtube doesn't let everyone see video watch numbers anymore, no wonder the companies just rely on subscriber counts.
@TREK-WORLD3 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thanks, I appreciate it. YT does show the watch numbers on videos. And I wish that vendors would actually look at the overall watch traffic on a channel rather than subscribers. If they did, it would be a lot more realistic.

Anyone know the status of the licensing for the electronic ships? Playmates got the toy licensing back & immediately lost it again. Still waiting for an Enterprise C to drop.

Yes. I have channels I watch every week that in the beginning I forget to subscribe to because the YT algorithm will keep serving up the new content from the channel. Great. The issue, though, is I believe I'm subscribed, when I'm not. I eventually discover that and subscribe if I'm a regular viewer, which is how I subscribed to your channel recently even though I've been watching for some time. One thing I do pretty much on most videos is I always click on "like" even before i watch the video, and really everyone should. The content creator spent time making the video that drew you in, and even if you don't agree fully with the content, the like is a way to say thank you for spending the time. The Star Trek universe is very loyal. 20K subs on a Star Trek channel may get heavier viewership than channels with 400K subs.

"Paint-by-numbers" marketing school and business algorithm simps. It's apparent they don't know they're posterior from a hole in the ground, let alone their product. I'm an avid life time modeler and have zero interest in diecast "toys", but I love your content and your channel and that's how I found myself here. Diecast toy collectors are not tuning into scale model channels. The myopathy is astounding.
