Nice variety of segments. Noted "hobby" job of free-form hand-painted numbers on engine #2414 in first segment, and the great sound of the horn in those leafy trees. In segment 2, had to watch twice to cinfirm engine #3604 bouncing as it reached the end of the trestle. Most of those DPUs sounded like they were working hard. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYSON!

Hello from the UK. I know what you mean about the weather in May. I live in the Southwest of England, this is known as the most mild area. However, in April and May we have had had frost, which is unheard of! When the sun is out it feels like spring, but there is a bitter artic chill to the wind that blows in from the North and the East. It looks like the weather starts from the USA and makes its way over the Atlantic,

They run coil trains out all the time. If you ever decide to visit the St. Louis area, come see Granite City. It's a hot spot for trains. You should go to either Trinidad, CO or Raton,NM and watch the trains getting ready to go thru the Raton Pass!!! Where normally they would be debating 1 or 2 engines for a "short to medium" in most of the US, they have to put 3 to run the train before they get to the Pass. At the switchyards on either side of the Pass they connect 2 trains going in the same direction together and then and (normally) 3 more engines!! This means you got (once again normally) 3 engines in the front, 3 engines in the middle and 3 engines in the back for a total of 9 engines!!! Even AmTrack has to get pusher engines when they go thru Raton Pass! (I've seen a total of 11 engines once in a while, with 4 pushers, and either the "first train" or the "second train" having 4 engines........)

Great video. At 3:02 what is the name of the town with the depot and caboose? I'm guessing its a museum. I live in Colfax, CA on the UP Donner Pass line. East bound trains .have three to five units on the head. A heavy train will one to five helpers cut in. The grade reaches 2 1/2 %s with very little straight track. Coming west a train will have helpers for dynamic braking. The former Southern Pacific depot, is now a museum and we can set in the shade to watch trains go by. Around noon time we also get AMTRACK # 5 and 6 stopping for passengers. The scenery back East is quite different from the forest we live in Colfax.

Hey there Jaw. E>K. from Columbus! Love your vids! Why don't you show your viewers so of Columbus and Central Ohio action! Short lines like Camp Chase, Indiana and Ohio (and one who's name I can't remember at the moment out on the east side) can provide viewers (like me) some really cool videos of hidden sidings, and heavy NS and CSXT rail fanning! Strangely enough we have a high rail bridge crossing over Alkire Rd. that a rivals something you'd see in Cincy! Once on the west side was a CSXT rail yard, where now all but a couple of lines was just recently taken up and a rail container service was just put in over the last 3-4 years! One single line runs to that service center! Columbus's south end is where CSXT and NS have their yards and the Williams Rd. area can give you plenty of videos of heavy rail service!
