Thank you for sharing. Great suggestions. I started around that time as well with Bob Ross and doing my paint-alongs. I love how it turned out. Still getting along as a self-taught (and still learning) artist. This video really hit close for me. Thanks again.

Love the suggestions. Chris Fornataro, the Paint Coach is a great artist with great tips. You might want to see Andrew Tischler and Scott Waddell, both are great artists. Scott, the best for portrait painting. Learning on your own is a big challenge but very rewarding. Keep going! You are doing great! Love your videos full of inspiration! Much success in your career. Blessings and take care.

Chris Fornataro, Adrew Tischler, DrawMixPaint Mark Carder, Tim Packer (Timpackfinearts) were together very good complementary sources for me to learn. I started oil painting in June and really would not be where I am without them. Nowaday Scott Christian Sava and Cesar Santos are inspiring me strongly as well for other reasons. oooh and also Florent Farges, goes deeper but in the same line as PaintingCoach and DrawMixPaint.

Draw Mix Paint is one of my favourite channels! I've learned so much from Mark, there is a video on how to mix any color and it was really eye opening for me, a complete game changer.

You got me to buy Sargent in your description box and i love him I was able to you his paintings and do a master copy and it actually look like the copy and helped me with color theory
@AnaCornejoArt2 жыл бұрын
That's amazing you got a likeness to the master copy and that you learned a lot from doing it! There's so many lessons to be learned just in master copies. Sargent is so good 😌 I hope you enjoy the book!!

🎉🖤, also thanks for the subtitles (i can hear well and everything but what if someone else doesn't and there's times that one just doesn't want to have sound on 100% and by having captions on you don't miss stuff that was said quietly or there's was outside noise and you couldn't listen and now you don't have to go back since you read it on the captions, and etc, idk it's just i couldn't imagine life without sound so it's good to try to think of every extra thing that helps those that unfortunately have to go through that or other disabilities 🤷♂️♥️)

Thank you for this! This is beautiful. I used to watch a KZbinr that is deaf and I never forgot her story. So I hope that something as simple as captions and help make someone's day better and feel included 💕

I’m going to get the color theory book, I need one! Thanks for sharing all your suggestions! What made you switch from acrylic to oil, slower drying time to work with? Just curious. Happy painting! ❤🎨
@AnaCornejoArt2 жыл бұрын
It's such an easy book to start out with! The main reason I switched was because I have always loved the texture of oil paints. I LOVE the way oils translate onto a canvas much more than acrylics ☺️ I hope that answers your question hehe ✨ Happy painting! 💕

Art videos are so much more helpful than art school. That’s why I would not go to art school. There’s plenty of art courses online that cost less and seem more helpful. In person classes as well if it’s a really small class. Art in college just tell you what to paint and that’s it. Use that extra money on art materials, art galleries and post online since people always mention art school helps with connections but you could do it yourself by putting yourself out there for free.

Non pensavo tu fossi un autodidatta, pensavo che tu fossi una studentessa dell'accademia. Sei veramente molto brava. Il tuo modo di studiare è molto buono. Brava!
