Paper - Saunders Waterford, 640gsm, 100%cotton
Pigments - Lemon Yellow, Indian Yellow, Sap Green, Perylene Green, Alizarin Crimson, Sennelier Red, Manganese Violet - remember to experiment with pigments that you have in your paintbox :)
Brushes - simple synthetic brush, fine tip synthetic brush

I painted a similar tomato and it was exactly as you said - too dark and flat. So I will try again with this tutorial and I'm sure it will work out better!
